  • That's what i thought complain to the dentist first and see how it goes.

Alicia is doing really well at the moment fingers crossed. She loved the flight out but her grandad was scared. She had metal rods inserted into her skull last week ready for her treatment that's why she has a week off now but her treatment starts again next week. She has gone all that way without her mum just her grandad and auntie emma and she's being really brave bless her. Thank you to you all for the concern and the good wishes .

Craftygranny I would write to complain but as tempting as it is, I wouldn't involve the local paper.

What a brave little soul Alicia is - I hope she had a fantastic time at Disney having tea with the Princesses.

been looking at scor-pals for quite a while now, then after seeing the MS scoreboard on QVC I wanted one of those, until I read some of the reviews on the QVC website of people saying the paper sizes were american style, which has put me off somewhat.

I am now back to considering a scor-pal but can't decide between imperial or metric. I learned in CMs at school so inches aren't my first 'language' (if you will!), however a lot of cardmaking stuff comes cut to inches as standard which I do struggle with sometimes and find myself converting it into cm's to understand it better :rotfl:

so my question is - who has what and how do you get on with it if it's not in your first 'language' so to speak?

sorry if I'm waffling...I think I just wrote down exactly what was in my head :rotfl:

Gemm ive sent you a PM x

Craftygranny So pleased Kaitlyn liked her little surprise :D. Glad to hear that Alicia is getting to have a little bit of a break and lots of excitement going to Disney. What a brave girl she is .. No doubt the Princesses will be making a big fuss of her. So they should , shes a special little girl !!.. I did giggle at Carly, its great to hear that her turning ons and ups are going well.
I would write a letter and complain too. Shes a cheeky mare. Not much is free nowadays but manners cost nothing..

Thanks for all the replies about my druggy days ahead!! I do forget to take them but then the pain generally reminds me!! ... today is first day on new tablets, I was scared to take them last night incase I had a bad reaction to them in the middle of the night when I was sleeping!! ... but all is well so far today!

Choccy halves or thirds on which papers? ;) I can always be convinced! :rotfl:

  • Craftygranny - I think the dentists was out of order - imagine if you sent them a letter and they had to pay the postage to get it!!! I can't believe how rude they were too!!!! I'll be thinking about Alicia today having tea with the princesses.

Popkins - sorry I am such an idiot!!! I'll dig that link out for you.

Rusty - I wanted that robot pack too - the colours look fab!

Mad-Frog - I was looking at getting some flowers from there too - is delivery slow then?? Gorgeous bag and card for your niece - I'm sure she'll love them. Love your twins card too - those bunnies are so cute - their tails look fab!
  • Can anyone tell me if it is worth getting a subscription to the Papercraft Inspirations Magazine please. As I am new to all of this I am after ideas of things to make, even though there is such inspiration on this site, and also equipment that is vital etc. I had a quick look at the shops but the magazine was sealed up and £3.99 was rather alot to fork out for something I couldn't look at first. I have discovered that I can use Tesco vouchers to get a subscription and I have enough to do this I would just like to know what some of you think of it first.

    Thanks

Gemm85, you are just down the road from me I live in Derby...I have the metric scor-pal but I wish I had ordered the imperial one as like you said most of the tutorials are for the imperial.

Have woken with a sore eye this morning, going to have a look at some blogs while drinking my morning cup of tea

Froggie have a look on the Scor-pal web site and Kitty Franken's site, see above post for Gemm. loads of tutorials in imperial and I think Kitty has rejigged some for the metric board.

    Enjoy your cuppa.
