Yes I have a couple of the dew drop ones, mine are memento, and I have a versafine one aswell I think?

Not heard of them but is it really that easy? what do you use to dust them over? Is it similar to embossing?? do the colours mix well or not? Presumably it needs to be quite a solid stamp (rather than an outline) to get a nice effect?

I hope she is aswell cause I am completely exhausted!

DTB - Have posted on your blog, and also sponsored you!

It's sort of like embossing I suppose, except you don't heat it, mine came with a little paintbrush to use for dusting the powder on but I preferred to use the finer ones I already have. I have used several shades of powder on both of my last cards if you have a peek at my blog, I think it gives a gorgeous shimmery effect.

Gemm I'm glad your Scorpal turned up before the NEC! Thank goodness after all that waiting you love it and its easy to use. Must say I'm torn between that one and the MS one. The MS one has more score lines I think but they do seem close together for someone like me that might wobble into the next groove lol.

Distressing inks seem to be popular at the moment with some of you, I must admit things do look fab. Last year at the Doncaster Craft Fair someone was demonstrating Tim Holtz Inks I wish I had taken more of an interest. Trouble is I'm a bit messy and would end up with permanantly inked hands!! I bet there will be a demo at the NEC.

Don't know if I will make the NEC now, we will just have to wait and see :(

Ooh sounds great, I sometimes see some really nice patterns of kanban on qvc but only want a few sheets rather than the dozens they want to sell you all at once!! Where's the shop you went to if you don't mind me asking?

Sorry I haven't been around, and haven't read all your posts yet but we had some very sad news on Tuesday evening.

My lovely neice's partner Scott passed away quietly at home. They sent him home from Papworth for a few days, and I think they knew he was near the end. Its so sad and so tragic that someone so young (25years old) and so lovely has gone. He was so poorly I doubt if he would have survived if a new heart had been offered, its just 5 years since he had the last transplant and everyone of those days has been precious to my niece. Scott was a lovely young man and when all the pain has eased Helen will have some beautiful memories of the short time they had together. God Bless xxx

so sorry to hear that flourgirl, you're all in my thoughts xx
