Ok that's strange. I added a post yesterday and it's gone missing??

anyway - hello all. I had time off work and I knew I spoke too soon. We saw the bank and they gave us the ok for the mortgage, the estate agent gave us good news with the value for the flat, we decided against putting in a new bathroom (saving money and time) then OH's work dropped the bombshell that he's not getting either the promotion he was promised or the pay rise he should have got next month. So after many headaches he's basically decided to look for a new job and then move house, which hopefully won't take too long. They really messed him about - promising more money, promotion to a good postition, (stick it out and you'll be a director soon...), extra time off, taking him on business trips etc. - turns out they were just wanting him to give them all his ideas so they could put them into place and not give him anything for it. Sorry guys rant over but that's why I've not been about or blogged etc. I'm gonna catch up on all the posts now...

I've dragged myself out of the sickie bed to do justice to Choccy's cake, I'm wearing the red swimsuit and a rather fetching red and white 'Cat in the Hat' number on my head. Just give me the nod, choccy. Methinks our Rusty is the new 'Jane Asher'


Must be the time of year for headaches 'cos I had a mega one and was sick with it too on Monday. I'm defo NOT a migraine sufferer and I have no idea what triggered it but, worst of all, it started on my day awf which was right out of order.
