Irlrip - I'm the same as tomsmom making my cards - I lay them out, move them around alot and finally decide what I want and stick it down. I have the same problem with promarkers though!

Rusty - hope the pain subsides soon and it all gets sorted out soon.

    Well done winners.

reporting in from sunny devon:) well 3 days down only 18 to go, so far the girls have slept in till nearly lunch time showered, gone shopping spent meal times with us then up to their rooms with laptops, music and nibbles (life of a 17 year old today). Long may peace continue. They both have college free days today but twin R is working for 3 hours this evening. I will have to be slightly nicer to tele sales people since she tells me how nasty some of us are to her (I hold up my hands to hanging up mid sentence):o

  • Hi Mummyslittleboy, I am running the challenge this time. Basically you have to make a card featurting the theme cow or make-up, pop it on your blog and PM me to let me know you have entered. The deadline is 23.50 on 30.09.10. Then I pop the names of everyone who entered into a hat and get someone to pick one out. Whoever wins will get a small prize from my stash, and most importantly a badge to display on their blog courtesy of PenPop x
Hmmm will add up debt and stick on on later!
  • Thanks jellybaby21 will have to have another shopping trip and get my thinking cap on:D

Rusty - you are having a tough time with your teeth:( - can you ask your dentist for a referral to dental hospital? Sounds like you may be run down or lacking some vitimins - might be worth asking.

Huge well done to little Missy on her swimming - I think it's really important that they learn young before they develop a fear. (like I did)

Hi Marg, I am scared of dentists, so a dental hospital is even worse for me as I have built up trust with my dentist, I am that scared that I feel sick when I know I have to go, and sit and shake, then when I get there I either burst into tears before he has even touched me or I refuse to talk to him. lol stupid really but I have had way too many butchers before him!! he has put some kind of brown dressing inside the socket which tastes gross and stinks :( I really am chuffed with her for swimming so well, just need to keep up the practice now :D

I still have 137 blog posts to get through  have made something today for Totally Ladybug tuesday ;) but obviously can't share it yet!

Rusty - you poor thing.........hope it all gets sorted out soon. Hows your back coming along ? Is that ok now or at least bearable ?

Had a really lazyish day double checking fam.tree scrapbooks to see if I'd missed anything out. Made a bit of a boo boo on the cover of one and not sure what to do..........I covered some really 'girly' border on it with some plain dark paper, got some glue on the wrong side, rubbed it to get it off and rubbed the colour of the paper off !! I can stick something over that bit but I get the feeling that the paper I used is a bit 'fragile' and have visions of my son going through it and that bit starting to tear. The only varnish I've got is gloss and not sure if that would do the trick so any idea please ??
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi Mary, My back is still bad, I have been discharged from the consultant again and since he has discharged me I seem to be getting worse which is what happened last time, I won't be beaten though! It is a lot better since losing weight though!!

Gloss might work on the paper? as long as the paper isn't too thin then it should stay flat? not really sure though?

Who is going to the NEC? I might have to have a raincheck this time as I am tempted to head north to the Glasgow one. It is nearer to me and to be honest anything is better as it was such a long day last year aswell as being in so much pain that I might just give Glasgow a try!
