Is this a good a deal as it seems?
81% off sounds appealing but I don't know much about the product!0 -

It's a very good price, the cheapest I've seen it is £35 and that didn't include the all the extras. I've read some reviews for it, but can't remember where, will have scout thru my mags later as I think it might have been there.0 -
Morning all
Dawnteabag - hope granny gets better soon. Its hard when they start to go down hill and can put lots of strain on the family. Hope you find a solution that suits everyone.
I think its terrible that people dont reply to party invites. When parties come round, I'm always telling my kids to ask their friends if they are coming, at least it gives you a better idea!
Tomsmom - sounds like you had a bit of a stressful day. At least you managed to get out with puppy!
Flying-fresian - that looks a good offer. I had a look around and they seem more expensive than that. I think I might get one for myself for a treat. I have a few amazon vouchers! ***ordered!***
Hope everyone has a good day, hugs to all, it sounds like a few of you need them. xxMay - £251.63/£155, June - £108.69/£150, July - £157.45/£155, Aug - £104.28/£155
Sept - £110.80/£150, Make £5 a day in Oct challenge = £50.50/£1550 -

Ooooh, just trying to reply something and my computer shut down . Trying again.
FF Have you clicked to enlarge the picture to see exactly what is included? Do you want and will use it all? You can get the same embossing board from here for £7.95, free p+p. If you think you will make use of it all then it seems like a great price.
About the challenges. This is what I do. I have my blog open at the page where my card is. In another window I have the challenge blog open (or two or three!). Copy the URL of the challenge blog.
On your blog post put something like "I'm entering this card in XYZ challenge", highlight it and paste the URL of the challenge blog - that is the required link back to them.
Once you've finished entering all the challenges on your blog post, then copy the URL of your blog post page (the one with the card, not your whole blog). Go to each challenge blog and find their linky thing, most use the Blue Frog or Inlinkz, occasionally some don't have that but require a comment. Just do what it asks - click on the froggy thing and paste the URL of your blog post page. You might be asked to select a picture, make sure you click the right one, press enter and you're done.
I become a follower of each challenge blog where I've entered a card, that way you get the notifications and it reminds you to check if you've won.
I keep my entries on a simple spreadsheet - end date, challenge, card I entered. Just a reminder for me (I need reminding - too many senior moments here :rotfl: .)
Hope that's fairly clear and helps.
DTB So sorry to hear about Granny. How rude not to RSVP. As Marg says, maybe some of the invites are still in the children's bags? They're sometimes pretty good at not passing things on! Still, I understand how awkward it is. Have to say I'm a bit of a stickler for some of the old fashion social rules, especially those that don't cost anything.
Rusty Hope your pain is a bit easier today. I don't mind the dentist, I don't even mind having a tooth out (don't like the toothache pain though), in fact I prefer the dentist to the doctor - now that's my phobia, they're all carp at our practice it's so not worth going. That reminds me, I need to book a smear test, had two reminders. Eeeuuugh!
Right, am off to get started. Brekky, put some washing in, cuppa with a friend, a bit of housework (but not too much), walkies if the weather stays nice. Curry for tea was made on Sunday and is in the fridge developing it's flavour - yum! - easy tea tonight! Remind OH of the million and one things on his to do list which he tends to ignore :rotfl: .
I really must get started - have a good day all.0 -
DTB hope things get better for you soon. Must be awful having to work in such an atmosphere . Have a big hug. I know what you mean about party invites it's kaitlyns party on sunday and we have to confirm numbers tomorrow and waiting for replies from 14 of the 30 invited . My oh said just assume they are all coming but that will be a lot of wasted money if they don't turn up and that could buy me lots of new stamps lol.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20

No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -

Good morning all
It's my first weigh in tonight  My balance board says i have lost 6lb so fingers crossed!
Dragonllew i ordered the 3 pack of stickles last nightthank you for pointing me in the right direction!!
Flying Fresian I have that craft room thingy, i paid £25 for it and got 2 cutters and 2 embossing folders. I use it all the time. Not so much the embossing but a A4 cutting mat fits nicely in there so i do all my cutting and colouring on it and the good thing about it too is the ruler for the cutter clips on either end of it which makes cutting alot easier. If i didn't have one i would buy that one!
Has anyone got any ideas for these- Does Craft Village have a website? I don't think i have one local to me
- Does Popcorn Bear and Milton stamps come in digi style? I am after the one with Popcorn pulling souffle
Also th Molly Blooms Stamps, the new ones are soooo cute!
