I made my first card today :j It's one of the ones from a Christmas magazine I bought - it might have been Lets Make Cards, it was about £8 anyway. It came with lots of free things and ideas for me to put into practice, and I think that this will give me the confidence to make my own designs. I'm going to make a few more Christmas ones this evening and see how they look, then play with my designs and make a cow one tomorrow. Hopefully it will look ok!
I'm having to curb my spending for a few weeks - I have bought a few bits of Ebay this week and finally got myself a craft knife and cutting mat. I'm unstoppable now :rotfl:0 -
Mary OP - you have a PM
Craft Fairies - they look really pretty and I'm sure they'd sell well
Flying Fresian - well done on your first card, do you have a blog? I'd love to see it.0 -

I don't have a blog yet, but plan to set one up this weekend once I figure out how to do it. I am going to have an operation next week and wanted to get my cardmaking stash and blog in place for when I'm recuperating and can't go out!0 -

If you use blogger it's really easy. I'm sure someone on here posted the basics, but I can't remember who. If you get stuck just shout, someone will be able to help you out. Hope your op goes OK.
I'm off to shower as I'm going out tonight and am covered in alcohol inks and distress inks atm which isn't the best look:D0 -
