CT I ordered 2 MS punches fro Oyster crafts and they took 2 weeks!!! it said they were in stock when I ordered them too ...grrrrr...

I will send you the file for the wallet by email ;)

Thank you flourgirl - I want them now! and like you they were in stock. I've had confirmation of them receiving the order, but nothing else like a despatch note. Do you reckon it is to do with opting for the free delivery?

Thanks in advance of the email toox

I ordered 2 punches and a stamp from Oyster stamps on Thursday 9th September. I rung them on Friday 17th to cancel the order and the lady told me that a week wasn't that long a wait! It turned out that they had ordered the stamp but it wan't in stock so they were waiting for it to arrive from America. I said the stamp wasn't that important I just really wanted the punches - she agreed to send me the punches and refund the cost of the stamp. So just ring them to see whats happening with your order. Also if the order is missing bits and they send you an e-mail saying they'll post the bits later - make sure you chase it up! It turns out that they have an actual shop so the stock isn't up to date.

Thanks Soma, I'll chase them up in the middle of next week to see where the punches are if I haven't got them.

    Hi All

Been out all day, so just trying to catch up.

Flying-fresian - Wow - congratulations on your win - sounds like premium make up! Hope you manage to sell some of it. I am following your blog now, cant wait to see what you have created!

The wife - hope the appointment at the ENT went ok.

PONR - it seems really cold at night, we were thinking of putting the heating on!! I had the blanket out when I was watching telly last night as it was so cold! Maybe you could wear extra clothes home, that would make more room for craft stuff!!

PepPop - those new nesties look great, very tempting, I love the eyelet circle ones and those hearts! I have some nellie snellen dies and find them fine, I dont have that style though, but my cupcake one on my site was a nellie snellen one.

Wanna-be - hope the kids are feeling better

OAP - no craft! Maybe you could go to a shop or two down there!

Craft Faries - Love the snowflake hair clips

    Welcome smwtyn

I think thats everything. Must go to bed now. We are off to a dog show tomorrow locally. Its for rescue greyhounds and the kids are looking forward to putting our greyhound into some of the classes. One of the classes is called sausage restraint! Can just image what thats about!

Thank you! I have been sharing the love with the win - some went to Mr Fresian's sister, his stepmum (who is lovely, not an evil stepmother at all!) got the Liz Earle facecream and I'm sending some Clarins to a lovely MSE lady I know from the DFW section of the forums. I found out (thanks to Google) that one of the facecreams I won is worth £75 (!!!) so that will go on Ebay a little closer to Christmas.

I will upload pics to my blog tomorrow - there will be a few. I have done nothing this evening apart from making cards :rotfl: Using the freebies with the magazine I bought I have followed their instructions and made 15 Christmas cards - some of them even look ok! I haven't really deviated from the ones in the magazine, but the good thing is that now I know I can be quite creative I will be able to have a bash at some of my own designs. I'll let you all know when the upload is done and you can let me know what you think.

  • Craftfairies - Thanks. I've been quilling on and off since I was a teenager - started making cards for the local hospital. They aren't difficult to make, just time consuming.

Elysia2003 - Thanks very much for the offer - that's very kind. I don't have many sentiment toppers, but I have some stamps I could use.

Ct19720 - iris folding is quite easy to do just took a while to cut and fold the strips.

Craftfairies - thanks for answering my question about the Big shot. I don't know why I keep asking about it, I have no money and more importantly - no where to put it. All my crafting is done from my sofa!

karencooke - I commented at your blog, but I agree the quilled chess set is amazing! How long did it take to make that?

Gem - I love your card here. May I ask what font you've used please? I'd love to make a sentiment that says that, perhaps with a fairy on the card - if you don't mind me 'borrowing' your lovely text please?

Ugh, just used my eyes and you've said where you got it from! Sorry!

  • Hi jazabell, thanks for the comment. It took about 5 evenings over 3 weeks. I did a couple slowly to check the pattern then made the rest in batch steps which made it quicker. I changed the pattern a bit for some of them by combining two designs. I sanded them a bit to smooth the cones and then varnished. The base is chipboard cut to 21cm square painted black with a printed board stuck on top and I varnished that too.
