I have to say that your distress ink backgrounds are lovely - I'm goign to a workshop at the Artisan shows so hope to be able to improve my efforts(couldn't get on the alcohol inks one).
Craftfairies - love the hair clips.
Flying Friesian - you do realise you are now on the slippery slope to stash addiction don't you!
I'll try and blog some of the bits later in the week - I don't know where my time is going at the moment (I seem to have far too many balls in the air iyswim). I''ve been experimenting with inks of varying sorts a lot lately and the more I use them the more I love them and can see more and more things to do with them.
The Artisan Show sounds fab - enjoy your workshop. I'll look forward to seeing your make and takes and any new techniques you've picked up. Shame you didn't get to do the alcohol inks, I'd have loved to have seen any fab hints and tips that you picked up.0 -
Karencooke - wow is all I can say to your chess set! it's amazing. How do I become a follower of your blog? I can't see a follow button
Scatty - glad your move went well.
Ali - hope the party was a sucess and that you managed to get your fairy cakes done!
CT - I've ordered loads from Oyster Stamps and nearly always had next day delivery. I've also visited their real life stores (they have a factory unit at Rochester Airport and a store at Whitstable). They bring almost all their stock in from the US which is why they often have things before any of the UK stockists and have such fab offers on things like their distress inks. If you ring between 9 and 3 weekdays you should get an immediate response from them.
Has anyone heard from Hassy? she seems to have vanished from the thread, hope she's OK.
Sorry if I've missed anyone, but I'm typing from memory and haven't made notes as I've gone along.0 -
Morning everyone
Off to the dog show in a minute, but thought I would pop in and say hello
Scatty - Glad the move went well, sounds like you've been very busy unpacking!

Good Morning - nasty & wet here but plenty of ironing to do to keep me out of mischief
Scatty - glad your move went well. I'm amazed that you have unpacked so much already - we moved here 8 years ago & there's still one box in the house unpacked & who knows what in the garage!
Addams - hope you enjoy the dog show
Wanna B - Did you enjoy your night out? Last I heard from Hassy she was going on holiday with OH but think it was only for a week??? so I too wonder if she's OK. I am following Karen's bl*g but by email, sadly, I can't remember how I did it- will have a look later & let you know.
Bunbun - good to see you here - hope the migraine's gone.
CT - Hope you have a good trip to Portsmouth - sounds a long way to go. Well Done on your card orders.
I'm planning to send the updated lists later today any changes/additions anyone?0 -
