DD fell back over to sleep at 3 but of course I'm now wide awake so after sorting out all me craft papers I'm online and lookee, lookee what I found here and here
Have fun and enjoy today, Thriftyxxx0 -

Thanks Mary and everyone else for your best wishes.
In my case, my DS's DLA was stopped as soon as we moved to England, thanks to his SENCO completing his form and telling them that he could manage perfectly well and he didn't seen any extra help. They took her word for it. In England, you need what's called a "statement" but in Scotland they don't have that. So because my son was "statemented" his DLA was stopped.
Thrifty, that's not a bad idea of Mary's (thanks Mary) how old is your son?
Sal
xRainmac - Can I come for tea please? Pizza Express are my favourites.
Sal & Thrifty - Hope you both get DLA for your sons. My nephew who has different mental health issues has benefited from what they call an 'early intervention' team aimed at young men - might be worth seeing if such a thing exists in your area. I know it's easy for me to say but please keep trying and if there's anything I can usefully do please shout up. Are your sons similar ages? Could they be pen email pals - not sure if it would help or not if it's interpersonal skills they need - sorry if I've got it all wrong.
Twinkle - love your cards - especially the bingo one0 -
Hello all :j
Tomsmom -sorry to hear all your problems. It is hard when you live a distance away like that and rely on someone else to deal with things. I had the same problem with mum when she was first taken ill.........my brother was over here at the time and dealt with things but didn't keep me informed and quite a lot wasn't done. When he went back to spain he gave me all the paperwork and I sorted through it.........surprising what I could deal with over the phone. Hugs ((( )))) and good luck.
Sally my sons 32 and never been on benefits so its all a bit daunting to him and he's not the sort who copes very well when things go wrong.
He says today he feels better so lets hope the doctor says the wretched virus is going...............he's epileptic as well, like me, and not being well has brought that back to the surface which doesn;t help. I keep telling him to apply for DWA but he won;t -he;s so stubborn. Men :mad:I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Haven't caught up on posts but wanted to come on and wish everyone a happy mothers day.
I have been thoroughly spoiled! I have 2 boxes of choccys and a game for my Wii, and 2 beautiful handmade cards from my children!! (I have competition!!) This all came when I was woken up with kisses from my children and DD wished me a happy christmas :rotfl: I have blogged my kiddies cards (bragging here but I am sure that is allowed and I will be forgiven!) I also entered them into a challenge  again don't know if I am allowed to do that but who cares!!
Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend :j we are off to OH's real mums for tea soon :j
P.S is anyone else here a car nut like me?? what you think about the grand prix?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Wow I finally made it to the end!
Happy Mothers day to all of u, hope u've all been spoilt rotten and u all have little angels for the day
Sorry I haven't been about, it been one thing after another! I'm still not well, i've had a headache everyday for over a week nowSo i've not been able to see well enough to read lots! I did manage to see straight enough on Thursday evening to make 2 mothers day cards, I put them in my living room window ready to take photos for u all to nosey and on Friday morning DD2 climbed up there and ripped all the decoupage off both
I could of cried, I was so mad. Mainly at myself for leaving them there. I finally remade them both last night at 11.30pm! I am yet to take photos as yet again my head is fudged, I couldnt even concentrate on the F1 today.
Got OH to take me food shopping yesterday (rare occurance, I either have to buy little and often from our local co-op or order online) and as we managed to spend so little I asked him if he could let me pop into Hobbycraft to see if there was any nice stamps in there. Well I was not impressed by the price of there stamps so I didnt get any but I did get some new papers! I thought they were a bargain. I got these http://www.docrafts.co.uk/asp/products/product.asp?id=74981 and these http://www.docrafts.co.uk/asp/products/product.asp?id=72727 for £2.49 each.
Sorry I cant remember too much of what i read, there was a lot of it!!!
Rusty well done on ur win x
Thrifty I hope ur DD gets well soon, thank u for posting the links to those lovely images, I really must get some black ink for the printer so I can use them.
Ummmm oh nevermind about the quiz Rainmac, just as long as u had a gd night. Thank u again for my parcel x
Oh thank you Glittermum for telling me about the Inkspot!! I went to the Range again on Thursday to try and get some fresh air and treat myself a bit and I had enough time this week to go on the hunt for it thinking it would b hard to find! How wrong was I and OMG it is going to be my new best friend! I don't think I will bother with the Range as much! I was after an Acrylic block and I couldnt find one in The Range but Inkspot had one and after visiting Hobbycraft yesterday and saw the prices they charge I am glad I found Inkspot! I also treated myself to some Promarkers, the summer and skin tone sets, oh and a reduced DoCrafts mag!
So sorry everyone, I really cant remember anything else. While I can focus on typing I will take photos of the re-made mothers day cards and post them on my neglected blog. I should make a list of cards that I could make to try and motivate me to try and get some done, never no might take my mind off the pain!
Hope to manage to get back on later tonight if OH doesnt hog the laptop all night

Sounds like u had a nice mothers day rusty! We love the F1 too, OH is wearing his mclaren t shirt todayFerrari did very well today, was a shame for vettel but at least Hamilton got a podium out of it. Not sure I like the ban on refueling though, takes the excitement out of the pit stops a bit

I hope everyone has had a lovely Mother's Day so far.
My week started of so well, finding £10 in a pair of jeans, winning a $20 spend from the cuttlespot challenge, then being told the DWP had underpaid me £250.
I suppose I should've known that my luck wouldn't last! First the black eye from one of my dogs headbutting me, then this morning a car accident. Nothing too serious, my car only has a small scratch, but it has really shaken me up. It just seems to have bought back all the memories from my car accident 6 and a half years ago (which is why I still suffer back pain). I feel so stressed out right now.some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
Happy Mothers Day Everyone
Sorry its late in the day, I've been at work today, my own fault I put myself down for overtime! I've had a couple of nice surprise still though (on me blog) Anyways just popping in quickly to say 'Hi' & Big "hugs" out to those of you who are not feeling wellx
I'm off to blog hop once the kiddies are tucked up in bed later, I've got 2 days worth to catch up with
Got my TSV from QVC yesterday so I'm hoping to find some time in the week to have a play...fingers crossed :rotfl:I'm still being a good girl & I've not gone & ordered the other set of stamps I want from QVC :A as the NEC is only 2 weeks away, yeah :j
Has anyone on here got a 'Xyron Personal Cutting Machine'? We dugg it out of the loft yesterday. My mum bought it me 2-3 years ago from QVC & I never got around to using it as Emily was born so it got put up out the way! Had a quick pay with it & it seems good, I just have to cut the paper to size (4"x4"). Was just wondering if anyone knew how long the blades last on these & the sticky pad, how long might that last? Sorry for the questions its just I don't want to go mad messing around with & then find its run out when I actually want to make something!
xXx:wave:Hi, I have a passion for crafting.......I'm always up to something :rotfl::rotfl:
:j I have found the key to weight loss.....ZUMBA :j0
