Louby, sympathy and virtual soap suds coming your way.

Rainmac that is one gorgeous card you've made. i love the papers you've used.

I'm going to find a scrap page I made last summer at Sugar and Spice Crafts at Barleylands (heads up to all Essex girls) where I used these flowers and shove it on the bloggie.

You're not numpties at all, I understood it from UKscrappers.

    Hello all :j

Just popping in to say 'hi' and let you know how OH got on with 'boffin'..............there's still something lurking on his lung......it's going (from what I understand) but slower than normal so he wants to see OH in 3 months.........I expect thats a good thing that he doesn't want to see him till then but its bugging me.........been 6 months since the start of all this. Still, must count our blessings,

rainmac - you never cease to amaze me -what a brilliant card:T
Sorry -not had time to look at blogs etc. -I'll catch up tomorrow.

Not getting much done at all. I forget how time consuming babies are. We are having a bit of a rough time here he had an endoscopy this week and hasn't stopped bringing his milk back up so i think it has upset him. I am not even getting the last lot of sicky clothes in the wash before he does it again. It was even coming out of his nose bless him. I hope to have a little play and at least get the 50th card done tonight when both kids are in bed.

Have you thought of disposable bibs? or the wipe clean ones. After My daughter was ill the antibiotics they gave her made her sick everything up and I found it easier to keep a bib on her so she only got a little bit of sick on her and it cut the washing by half. Or maybe put the heating up and leave him naked on a change mat, my little girl still loves doing that haha

I dont actually want a card but I thought this the most appropiate place to ask for this help as card sentiments are probably what I am looking for
My Disabled Duaghters ex school's head is retireing at the end of term, I would like to do her something to keep and I am thinking of an embroidered cushion or towel I dont think I want to have something like " happy retirement" as shes a very young at heart person and I am sure she wont want to look at something every day reminding her she is retired! just something suitable for a very very special lady that deserves to enjoy her retirement. obviously being embroidered I dont want too many lines either.

    Any ideas please

How about something along the lines of "Heartfelt thanks to a very special person"?

Just another quick one from me ...

Rainmac your cards are lovely, the doodlebug papers are really pretty!! ..... :D

Mary sounds like fabby news! :j

Mad frog - I posted your ribbons today but didn't have a spare card or time to write a quick note but I have sent you some so if you recieve a juffy bag with ribbons in then it is from me :j (first class so hopefully tomorrow)

Bunbun - I doubt you will be able to get in the front door :rotfl: I will have to let you in through the back door!! I have done 3 invites with ribbon and peel off, and 17 more with just the ribbons on. I hate loathe and detest peel offs!

I have given up on the invites for one night, I want to go make a card but I am that annoyed at the peel offs that I might just give up on it all together!
