flourgirl is my mind playing tricks or were you looking for some oval bubble fronts used for shaker type cards? I think SU had them in the states.

oh dear I've just discovered the glitter pot and placed my first order oops
does anyone know where I can get patterned acetate like the one Mr Sunrise used on here

we bought this in hobbycraft but they don't seem to have it any more
ideally we would like a wedding one if they sell it anywhere and a christmas one would be nice as well
I know Papermania do a range of printed Acetate, sorry I couldn't tell you where to but it from though!

  • Hello to everyone.

As a regular reader of the thread but only an occasional poster (at the moment) I hope you won't mind me posting a 'Spendy Elves' link but it is actually money saving, LOL.

I've hopefully made a shorter link to this ebay seller

    http://!!!!!!!.com/ylhkm99

who is selling the Magnolia Ink 2 magazine for £3.99 with free P & P (2nd class). I ordered mine late on Sunday evening and it arrived this morning. Hope this will be of interest.

If the link won't work becauseI haven't yet made enough posts the seller is 5mcd

Thanks THE-WIFE and rainmac, gonna give it a go and see how I get on. Been dispatched today so hopefully it comes tomorrow or Fri. As for my cards, I will try to post some piccies up but like I said, don't be 2 disappointed cos their nothing like all yours :o Haven't quite got round to talking my OH into letting me buy loads of really pretty stuff (YET! lol) We will get there lol!

Re. vellums, I bought some from a site called MadAboutCards.com a while back with printed butterflies and script on in white/cream. Very cheap, only £1 I think for 4 sheets! Not sure if you could use in place of acetate??

Will let you know how I get on with the ScrapBoss.

    thanks for the replies
vellum is thinner than acetate which is more like a stiff plastic
I did find some on my travels which was nice but I was hoping someone would know where to get some different designs
  • Have finally uploaded my Mother's Day card to my blog (link via my profile under homepage) and i'm off to blog hop now so will leave comments as I go x

Snap!! craftygranny, that's what happened to me and the sad thing is that for the life of me I don't know how they came to me. Snuck in with the nesties, methinks.
