Great challenge Lyndach - and your quick off the mark Choccy!

I am very pleased with myself at the moment - am managing to pretty much keep the spendy elves at bay till the NEC - but love the look at those Kioshi papers - what if no one has them at the NEC - that would be a disaster!

Mary - sorry it's not more positive news from the boffins, but 3 motnhs is a good while so they can't be too worried.

MS alert (not Marth Stweart - actual money saving!) If anyone is in the market for a DS1 XL (it's birthday party season in our house and we're getting one for the boys to share) the cheapest are in Asda -£135.00. If anyone told me I would be getting a 4 year old boy the latest gadget I'd have said they were mad - the perils of an older brother I suppose!

Louby - does your little one have reflux? DS2 ended up with GAviscon and Zantac being syringed before every feed and I well remember the 30 odd throw ups a day till it was under control - I feel for you!

Morning all :D hope everyone is ok?

Choccy my oh my you were quick off the mark!!

Tiny pablo - lovely card, If you want to pm me your address I could send you a few bits and pieces to get you started?

Glittermum - That is cheap for a DSI xl ! I know what you mean about following trends, DD keeps asking for a DS!! she doesn't know what to do with one and has never touched one so we have bought her a Vsmile pocket for her birthday and she is not having a DS until she is 5, which is when we gave in and let DS have one!! You have just reminded me about the nightmare of reflux!! DD had it, and gaviscon never worked, but we got SMA staydown on prescription for her as it was quite hard to find back then!! what a nightmare that was as she still brought some back up after every feed, but you couldn't shake the bottle to mix it you had to mix it by rubbing the bottles inbetween your hands!! ... I gave up with that very quickly and used to mix it instead!! worked a treat then! :D

Hope your little one is better soon Louby

  • :):) Morning ladies, sorry I wasn't around last night, started to organise some craft stuff & it took alot longer than I thought it would! I did blog hop though as part of my bedtime reading & left comments. As always ladies some fantastic makes :T

Today I'm going to try & get some bits & bobs listed on Ebay to get some money together to buy some more crafting goodies :D

Choccy - Your card is gorgeous :T I'm going to try & get a card done for this one, I seem to have missed the last one!

I recently aquired a crafting trolly (see blog) should I bring this to the NEC? I read about how you buy loads & was wondering if I'd look silly if I take it?

Also my ticket came yesterday from Tesco clubcard for the NEC...Yeah :D Not long now...getting excited? I know I am :D

I've also joined CP card swap (left lots of questions sos!) :)

    Hello Everyone

I'm back and I've found the shiney (not so new now!) thread. I've read to the end of the old one & up to page 1 on here, so sorry I can't make any useful comments yet but hugs to you all.

I missed & thought about you, especially on the first day, LOL:rotfl: when I was sooo tired from travelling that I put my T shirt on inside out and didn't dare change it in case it made bad luck!! I now wish I had turned it rt side out 'cos both DH & I got a nasty tummy bug followed by really bad colds!! Fortunately, our friends escaped both & it didn't cast too much of a blight on the proceedings.

I haven't managed to blog hop yet but have been on CP to order craftwork stuff. Washing & work permitting I will try to catch up as quickly as I can.

Mary, I think that's ok news isn't it and they don't want to see Mr Mary for 3 months so they can't be very worried xxx

Welcome home Marg, we missed you xxx

I'd like some of those half ball clear thingies to make fun Easter cards for my monkeys. Going to have a trawl of ebay and see if I can find anything...

I ordered 2 of the new BG paper pads yesterday from Secret Crafter after dragonllew sid they had them in stock and they are here today - fast or what, free p&p too ;)

Does anyone have an idea where I can get the patterned Doodlebug papers? I found some yesterday at hobby craft was 75p each still got 2 though lol

I think my DD is ill, she's refusing her food and milk, we're established in weaning and normally she gobbles it up but today is a no, though she very happy and playing so I'm clueless whether she's ill or not.
