sorry to jump on - but wondered if you lovely crafty ladies can help me....?
I am looking to make some placecards (sort of card making) for a large meal my OH is having for his 30th Birthday for approx 30 sit down guests in a restaurant.
I have looked at the little clip stands with weights but they are v expensive £5 for 6!
I wanted to do pictures instead of names (funny party pictures) so people will laugh at themselves when they see them - but not sure how to do this... I have all pictures I need off Facebook - but its putting them onto card in a nice way that will look presentable....?
any other ideas would be great too
    Thanks

For anyone in the north west thinking of visiting Ikea in Warrington, not too far away from the store post code WA8 3UU incase you want to punch it in your sat nav, there is a wyevale garden centre in Bold Heath near Warrington. Inside it is a craft area called Carole's Crafts. There is one in Oswaldtwistle too. I have not visited the one in Bold, but if it is like the one in Ossy, then it is worth visiting. It sells some stuff you don't see in other stores, well, I haven't seen them anyway. And it is quite reasonable. Worth visiting if you are in the area. There are anumber of Carole's Crafts in the country, I will look out for the addresses and post them if anyone wants?

Ooohhh this has got me a bit stumped. Could you draw a body onto card (one for a man and one for a woman) and pop the head of each person onto the drawn body? Would make them look funny?
