Hi Crafty JuJu - glad the card and butterflies arrived safely. I didn't use the the craft robo to emboss the card, as you can only cut and draw with it - not aware of any machines like this that emboss. I did the embossing with a dvine swirl cuttlebug folder that I bought from the glitterpot. I have yet to need a replacement cutter - had the machine since Christmas so not sure how long they should last. I've had to get a new carrier sheet, as they loose their stickiness very quickly.

    Hope this helps.

I have just got some repositionable spray adhesive and redone my mat, it is fab now ;) I will probably eventually have to replace it but it is a lot stickier than when I first had my machine!! something to think about ;)

Also I managed to work from an image of a butterfly (one of the new marianne something dies?) I got the outline and have the file saved in GSD on the robo! that saved some money as I loved the die!!

OH is playing on his PS3 so I am having a play on online craft shops :D Have just bought myself a martha stewart punch around the page punch, hope I can use it

Rusty Oh dear so sorry I didn't mean anything by that regarding the ribbons :o it's just all I have is some yucky stripy things I bought when I first started and some organza (can't spell!!) so am after lots more, sorry didn't mean to imply anything by that. Still hunting through the on line shops

I am making a couple of cards and doing MIL mothers day card, thought I would be clever and cut something out to stick on my card but it's taking me forever

Madfrog, I know you didn't, I offered to send you some ribbons and that is what I will do tomorrow, I have them all sorted but just need to bag them up and get them sent, sorry but been mega busy here and struggling with walking etc but I promise I will pop them in the post tomorrow, ask the girls on here I say I will post stuff and then a few days later I actually get it done, not sure where all my time goes!!!

  • Just popped on for a quick catch up. I've been really naughty today and bought another of the X-cut border punches and the Woodware Movie Punch. I'm hoping to have play with them tomorrow, but DH is home for a change and has something planned, so it might have to wait until Thurs!

Bunbun - congrats on your sons grading and your other one getting his school placement.

    Lyndach - congratulations

JHB - thanks for organising the challenge x

Mary - good luck for tomorrow

Macma - lovely cards, you have a new stalker.

Hassy - well done on your sale

Ali.b - your card is fab, I'm just a bit slow on the uptake x

DTB - hope things get better for you. Your bunting looks fantastic.

Rusty - hope you feel better soon

I think that's everyone, if not apologies, but have left comments on blogs.

I don't know if you girls remember I went to a card making session with the beautiful Steph and one of the generous gifts she gave everyone was a pack of DCWV papers and the birdy one was part of that. I've got no idea what set they are from. She's got lots of DCWV papers on her blog right now.

I have that DCWV Stack! It's called The Stack 6 and I got mine from WH Smiths for £14.99.

  • Hiya ladies

Woo what alot of chatters you are!!!!!!!

melissa75 - congrats on winning the competition, it was a lovely card so well deserved.
Crafty JuJu - I got a sock creatures book yesterday at the craft store. I had a 50% voucher burning a hole in my pocket so treated myself. I think it is a follow on book perhaps as it says more sock creatures. It looks great though and I cannot wait to try to make some of the creatures in it!!!! It worked out to around £6.xx when I converted the dollar back!!
CT19720 - great cards, look very realistic!
rainmac - hope your boys are felling better and less itchy and that you have not lost the plot yet having them both at home!!!
THE-WIFE - ok this is gonna sound dumb but what are RAKs and what is the link for CP??? Thanks!!!!
Rusty - Hope you are feeling better and in less pain. Sounds terrible, take care of yourself.

Congratulations to all of the winners on here and to those that have sold things this week.

I have been packing up my case with the craft items I have bought over here and the case is nearly full!!!! :eek:I fly home at the end of the month, can't believe 2 months have nearly gone by!!!!

Hiya pnor first of all, how was Jo-ann's as I've not been in that store, tell me, tell me!

A RAK is a Random Act of Kindness where you can give away your stash instead of selling it, usually small items that you no longer want or have too much of. CP is Crafty Place where we can show stuff we wish to sell, exchange or give away. It's the place where we do our card and ATC swaps and challenges etc.

Hope this helps but you do need to sign up for it before you can post over there and hopefully be part of this thread as you are now.

pnor, I hope you've taken out your crafty stuff from its packaging, 'cos if you do, you'll have room for MORE! Don't bring home stuff you'll throw away once you've unpacked.
