Re: the stash ban I think I might join you - spent a small fortune lately and wanting to go to Harrogate twice in September one for the papercrafts & one for cross stitchy type stuff. Its just I still NEED loads of stuff - couldnt take part in the something new challenge on here 'cos didnt have anything new - daren't start buying embossing powders/heat guns etc. partly 'cos oh will go mad and partly 'cos I havent a clue what I am doing:rotfl:.0 -
Rusty - hope your daughter is ok. Ring NHS Direct, they are fab and if nothing else at least you know you've done exactly the right thing. x
Dragonlew - how scary - I'd have been in right old panic. I hope everything shows up ok on the ecg and with the docs. x
Louby - good luck with your diet, hope you feel a better soon.
Rainmac - I didn't think you were ignoring me, so no need to apologise. x:D
Hassy, Rainmac & The-Wife - I'd join you, but I know my spendy elves haven't quite finished with their spree. Once they have, I am going on a serious stash diet as I need to save my pennies for the NEC and my holiday.
My crafting mojo appears to have the hump - I've been trying to make a few quick cards, but nothings happening, so I'm cutting out butterflies with my Marianne Creatables (I think it may just be me, but I'm not overly impressed with the MC dies, everything has to be prised out. Once the die cut is out it looks fab, but it's just so time consuming).0 -
snipped sorry

You don't need anything new, it's try a new technique. So you could make an easel card if you've not done one before, or colour an image in black & white - basically try doing something you've never done before. x0 -
Evening all - sorry haven't been with it have had man flu (was really bad cold but managed to drag myself out of bed so doesn't qualify as flu in my book
) and had 2 days off work - went back Wednesday and it went mad so had to work extra today to catch up where I should have been by tonight for some reports I have due tomorrow
New challenge blog here - challenge is anything goes atm
I really must go stash free again - we're going to Amsterdam for our anniversary next month plus OH is wittering that he wants the fridge freezer we were supposed to be having for xmas- plus my little claire order arrived today but sneaked it in while he was on a conference call :rotfl::rotfl:
Also big thanks to CraftyJuJu bag charm arrived yesterday and it's better in real life than it looked in pic I know my friend will love it - there's an OSAAT challenge coming up that I can make a box for it to go in shortly
That must have been a shock Rusty - my DS was always sick when he fell over whether he banged his head or not - saying that he used to be sick in the bath when I washed his hair
Don't envy you the furry presents - ours is a house cat fortunately god knows what her fur would be like if she was allowed out - took her for her boosters yesterday and she needs some dental work - told them I needed a quote so I could have recovered from the shock before I dropped her off and I need to work out how to carry the cat box without the arm and leg that it's gonna cost me :rotfl::rotfl: Yet another reason for going stash freeOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended
