Great work Rusty - how's your download going? Good luck with the mouse disposal, my two only eat flies thank goodness.

Hassy don't do my trick of being ruthless and then discovering a week later that you did actually need that bit of paper. :)

Sorry just a quick dash in to check everyone's ok...

Mel, so sorry to hear about your OH's grandad, such sad news but as you say he is at peace now xxx

Gemm, good luck wishes to you with work, thinking of you xxx

Lei, fantastic news about your promotion and your card sale :j

Hassy, yep I'd love to do a stash ban with you, could we do it a week at a time and keep checking with each other on here how we are doing?

I've got the card swap to sort out on Crafty Place, will do that tomorrow so if you want to take part please pop over and put your name down (it's a nice easy theme this month) :)

I've spent most of the day looking after my friend's little girl whilst she was at the hospital having an antenatal appointment. She has has miscarriages before so being pregnant is always such a worry. All looking good so far so we had big hugs and tears earlier x

I've managed to finish my book club book even though I didn't get home from preschool meeting till 10.30 last night ;) It's DS1's school fayre on Sunday so this weekend is taken up with organising that. I am owed some ME time next week I think :)

    Hugs to everyone xxx

Kel, one way to buy bigger cards at a reasonable price is to go to The Works where they do sets of 50 cards and envelopes for £4.99, they also frequently have them on offer at buy 2 for £8. From what I can remember they do 7" x 5" and they might do square ones. That might be cheaper than buying A4 card then buying envelopes in the size you decide to cut your card down to. Papermania do some 5" square I think.

I've loads of A6 size cards, they're 6" x 4", and I no longer like working with that size. I bought them years ago. I think they were popular because you could buy an A4 sheet and get two cards out of it.

Do you mean rubber stamping? You'll need stamps, ink - Memento if you're using Promarkers, Stazon if you use watercolours, pigment ink if you want to heat emboss so then you'd need embossing powder and a heat gun. Stamps can be quite expensive. I've got loads of stamps that don't come out very often. I'm actually buying stamped images off Ebay at the moment, that way I can have a couple of each image I like but don't have to go to the expense of paying up to £7 or £9 for a stamp (House Mouse are very expensive, so are Penny Black).

You could try downloading free digi stamps for a start and see how you get on (google free digi images, lots come up).
