    Hello ladies.. :)
Hope everyone is well? Hugs to those who aren't and what the heck, hugs to everyone else toooo!!! :D
We are still having thunder rattling around.. no rain yet though.

On another forum I dip into there is a post saying that this site has 20% off Nellie Snellen products until mid night to night, including stencils, punches and multi frame dies... Discount is apparently manually discounted before dispatch... http://www.stampaddicts.com

Lei Congrats on your promotion.. brill!! :)

Has anyone heard from mumof4? I am only up to p455 on my catch up of the thread so don't know if there has been any contact between then and now? Was going to ask about JHB too, but that has already been mentioned today..

I am off to use the paper shredder now, got a new cross hatch one.. sorting boxes out from the conservatory where loads of papers for 'filing' where put.. I look through the boxes and think.. why did I keep that? I am quite a hoarder though, although I am getting a bit better at throwing stuff away... that doesn't include craft stuff tho.. oh no... :)

Ooh yea how could I forget the good news lol... I've been promoted to deputy manager at work :D Pretty impressive as I'm the only girl in my team and the youngest by 10 years!!! Only downside is my salary can't be reviewed until next year x

Huge congrats to you Lei. Also well done on getting £10 for your absolutely fabby wedding card.

I'm here :hello: been quite tired this week so I have been reading along but havent really felt very chatty. Its quite strained at work at the moment, as tomorrow's the day we;ll all find out who's staying or going. I havent been told whether my voluntary has been accepted or not as they want to tell everyone at the same time, not that I can see any point in that, it's just dragging it out. I just hope they havent decided I've got to stay after all this :( ((hugs)) to everyone and apologies for going awol xx

Gemm, I hope you get the news you want to hear. Sorry you're feeling tired, it must be hard going back to work after all this time so no wonder it's taken it out of you. Hope you feel better soon.

Morning ladies - we had some sad news yesterday - OH's grandad died in the night - he was a lovely man but had been suffering for quite a while - he had cancer, so at least he's at peace now. I got myself really stressed out yesterday - OH had asked me to make a few sympathy cards for his Mum and Nan - I couldn't decide what to do, so I'm going to try and finish them today.

Condolences to all concerned Mel. We all miss loved ones when they pass but in these circumstances we have to think about the fact that their suffering is now over and they're at peace. Sympathy cards don't need to be fussy so don't stress over them. Hugs to you.

Rusty Hope you get your computer sorted. I had XP installed on my new computer (which came without an operating system). We'd only purchased XP a few months earlier and our computer guy said he'd stick with it. He's stuck with it himself as he knows all about the probs with Vista and Windows 7. He thinks XP is a fab system and wont change. I have Vista on my laptop but I don't use the laptop for anything other than putting my crafty stuff on, lots of pics and I refer back to them for inspiration etc. It's there as a backup if ever the big computer has a wobbly but it wouldn't be used from choice. So I don't really know how Vista works. I was going to get a new printer and install it on the laptop so I could print digis off in my loft where I craft but you've got me wondering now!

Hi Gemm - I got a pack of 20 tiles with bales from an eBay seller in the US. When I'm at home I'll look out the details for you. I also bought some images from someone on Etsy (basically copied Fiddlefarts ideas exactly!) I found that some of the images bled in the glossy accents so did waste a few! If anyone wants any inch images let me know.

When do you find out about work?
