  • Ooh yea how could I forget the good news lol... I've been promoted to deputy manager at work :D Pretty impressive as I'm the only girl in my team and the youngest by 10 years!!! Only downside is my salary can't be reviewed until next year x

Right I'm off to bed as I've gone completely cross eyed finishing off a cross stitch that I need for tomorrow. Just a thought has anyone heard from Gemma since she went back to work. I must admit I've only been skim reading but didn't think I'd seen a post.

    Sleep tight everyone.

I'm here :hello: been quite tired this week so I have been reading along but havent really felt very chatty. Its quite strained at work at the moment, as tomorrow's the day we;ll all find out who's staying or going. I havent been told whether my voluntary has been accepted or not as they want to tell everyone at the same time, not that I can see any point in that, it's just dragging it out. I just hope they havent decided I've got to stay after all this :( ((hugs)) to everyone and apologies for going awol xx

lei well done on your promotion, you sound dead chuffed :T

Was it a pro marker challenge? Have a look on mellisa75's blog as she it guest design team and did a card with 3 circles, she used a dog dig stamp, my thoughts are that it is I love promarkers challenge, or could be passion for promarkers.

Morning all, hope everyone is ok. Craftygranny my oh my look at all of those links! Lol naughty naughty.

Lei congrats on the card! That is an amazing amount, and glad she gave you so much money as the card was stunning! Congrats on your promotion as well!

I have also seen popkins on facebook, and also jhb, poplins has been away and is also due to go again!

Thanks for the info re smooch, I keep looking at the glimmer mists so not sure? Smooch also do a spritz which is a little cheaper than smooch itself!

My test tubes arrived yesterday so really need to get cracking on those!

Thanks to padster my images arrived yesterday, and thanks to juju my bookmark arrived, it's smaller than I thought!

Morning all! WBR I'm pleased everything is ok, Gemm hope everything goes well and you get what you want and you can then move forward in your life. I've been in your position before and was pleased to go. Especially after I'd been there at the start of the company and I knew it was on its way out, belt up, wifey, that's all in the past!

Thank you craftygranny, for your sterling work on the bloglist as there are a few I didn't have. I'll be a little bunny and blog hip hoppity bop all over blogland later when I get home from work. I've had an email from a card4u that my order is on its way, I bought a few Copics and pearls.

Artydoll, I am often doing the same as you make a card and forget what challenge it's for but the lovely peeps on here will always help out. A 'craft' moment I call it!

Morning - I had a really good nights sleep last night, so feel great today. I've just got to make an appointment to see my GP to sort out the tablets, once we've discovered which ones are working for me with limited or no side effects then the consultant will operate. DH is home tomorrow - yippeee, so got to have a quick blitz of the house and then I'm intending to make some cards. Thank you all for your support. x

Madfrog - I hope your package didn't work out too expensive. I got hit once before and a £36 order ended up costing me £48. Since then I make sure my order doesn't exceed £28 including shipping (unless I get a really nice seller who marks it as a gift).

Tiredmom - good luck with all those parties! I'm amazed you ever have time to craft. x

Craftygranny - thanks for the blog list, it must have taken you ages. As long as we don't post links to our own blogs then any posts containing links to others blogs should remain iyswim?

Lei - Congratulations on your promotion and selling your card for £10.

Gemm - hope it all goes well today and you are included in the redundancy announcement

Rusty - thanks for the info re Smooch Spritz, will go check that out

    - I looked at the Copics and then resisted, but I was tempted especially by the skin tone colours - I've had to replace a couple of my Promarkers that I use loads and as the Copics can be refilled, I wondered if they'd worked out cheaper in the long run?

Hope everyone is OK. I'm going to blog hop later too ( I never got round to it last night, so sorry if you think I've been rude and not commented). Sorry if I've missed anyone. x

WBR I bought the Copics as they were so cheap, £1.15each and they do compliment the Promarker shades, I must admit I do use the flesh tone Copics quite a bit and they do blend well with the PM's too.
