Oh I'd love to go to Morocco, mostly for the food. It's up there on the must do list. That sounds like a great opportunity Lost, I wish we had an offer like that!
We're looking to go camping in France in September, probably west coast 1/3 way down, I'm not very up on my French geography but I think the drive would be managable and the beaches are quite nice there. I love France for the food again.

Had loads of eurocamp type hols there when the kids were small, idyllic and very do-able with kids! Iles de Re and Noirmoutier....gorgeous. Beaches in the Vendee are long wide sandy and backed with pine trees and the smell of garlic wafting from the cafes at lunchtime and the divine seafood soup that we had for lunch nearly everyday................drool!

Ah that sounds lovely Bronnie, and a good price. I much prefer quieter resorts. I really don't like the loud annoying Brits on holiday thing, I'm quite nervous that this year we might end up being *that* family though with the distruptive child.

well, i could do sun, on the cheap..my dads best friend lives in spain now, and we're always welcome, so could do that with just the cost of the flights i guess..
it's just having the time to go, which atm i dont..i don't have a weeknd free now until the end of july ;S

and whilst usually i'd not mind going on my own, i think in my current emotional mindframe it may do me more harm than good to be alone with my thoughts..i'm sure this sounds ridiculous, but it's true :S

most of my friends have used up their hols..hmm

Sounds perfect. That's exactly what I had in mind, but with our own tent.

Have you ever used skyscanner.net it's great for finding the supercheap flights and you don't need to put in dates or reorts, it just finds what's cheap. Might be worth a peek, you might find something to tempt you into cancelling any plans.

    Morning girls.

Had to force myself to sleep last night else I would have been up all night watching the election results- I know Im probably boring everyone around me (including you lot but you cant run away so ner lol) but Ive found it all really interesting so much so Im actually considering ditching my pyschcology in September and looking into studying politics- haha really! Dont know if Im intelligent enough for it though.....Extremely disapointed about the amount of BNP votes that were cast up here, makes me feel ashamed...

    Anywaaaay!

Wearing my bargain purple floral dress from Dotty P's
    blue jeggings
    purple snakeskin print shoes
and a cardi as it seem its winter again here!

Got an eyelet maker from ebay that arrived yesterday and some black satin tie stuff to customise that red strapless floral dress that I got from ebay eons ago (remember that?) so hoepfully will be able to try something out on that this weekend. I also bought a dressmaking book made in my birth year 1976, ha bought it for 50p just because it was from the 70's but some of the patterns in it are really cool! Got my stepdad on the hunt for a second hand sewing machine for me (hes a proper skip rat lol if he cant find one cheap or free no one can!)...so hopefully a lot to do soon :)

PS Bronnie I love your avatar you are very pretty I think you should keep it.

PPS I want a holiday- or even enough money to afford one booo :(

retro ive picked up some brilliant dressmaking / pattern books for literally pence from charity shops, and they are just as good as modern ones iykwim

one of them even shows you how to make a pattern from scratch - how / where to measure, what to multipy / add etc....

Going back to the election, the results haven't yet been declared in our area, recount apparently due to "problems with the ballot verification system"....whatever that's supposed to mean. Discrepancy in voter numbers was mentioned earlier. Curious!
