  • morning everyone,

I have internet access at home, hurrah! I finished my temp contract yesterday and OH was asked to swap his shift from sunday to today so I've got the whole day to myself.

Am not dressed yet, still sporting my turquoise leopard print PJ's, dressing gown and slippers watching sky news as the final seats are declared. I'm hoping that Nick Clegg stays true to his word and won't form with Lab, we'll see in his statement at 10.30am. The system is in ruins, people not given their right to vote because polling stations couldn't cope with demand - Liverpool actually run out of ballot papers. Someone made a really interesting point that we have our troops in Afghanistan fighting for democracy when here in the UK democracy is a shambles. Anyway I could rant on all day about it, it's not going to change anything, and we're looking at another general election in a year anyway. We live in scary times :(

So what shall I do with my day…decisions decisions. Some housework is much needed and although the sun is trying to break through it doesn’t look too promising, but I still think I’ll venture out somewhere.

Alex – I’ve not forgotten about your pm, want to respond with dates of fairs etc xx

Daisy - good luck with appointment today

Char - *big hugs* have you considered cutting all ties hun?
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

Lost I think a little treat is allowed if it's to keep you sane.
Great tips Bronnie. I think my bag is going to be on the heavy side especially if I take my dive gear too so if that's the case I need to be sensible about clothing.
DB, the resort is Turunc. The transfer is a couple of hours drive from the airport but a boat to Mamaris is quicker about 45mins I think.

LOL, my ''little treats'''though rare tend to be expensive. I have to pay a (possibly) wasted survey fee today...I'm going to hold strong against it.

I can't believe any of you stayed up to watch the election results coming in! There are a lot of people on my facebook saying the same too. I just put the news on when I got up and saw the results then. Weird to have a hung parliament although I think there are a lot of people out there who wouldn't normally have bothered that felt the need to go and vote.

I love packing as it means I'm going on holiday :p I'm much better at not over packing now, especially as I tend to buy a lot while I'm away so need the space to bring back all that!

    Outfit:
Black M&S polo shirt with 3/4 length sleeves
Grey patterned dress - TK Maxx
    Black tights
    Black flats
Black short (high waisted style) cardigan - Mark One!
Chunky Relic watch and silver jewelry

I've never been to Turkey - so many places I still want to see! Sounds lovely Vicki, I tried diving a long time ago but never got past the 1st attempt, but I really would love to learn properly.
