Gorgeous dresses DB,
Lost, PF and Alex - hope you are able to take it easy today and (hugs) to you and anyone I missed.
DB - Hope it goes well today with both appointments. xx
I've started my (well more like our as I do the whole family!) packing.
I never iron for DH apart from his holiday clothes as I like him to look presentable and if I don't do it then he'll just go creased as usual lol!
I really don't know what I'm going to feel like wearing while away, I don't think it's going to be tropical but I think tights and leggings will be too much. I have a Primark/Lakeside trip scheduled for next week so I can pick up any last minute things then!0 -
I hate packing Vicki, especially planning for what I may, or may not fancy wearing. I am a hopeless over-packer. I'm gonna have to get some serious help with my hospital case!0

Outfit today:
Pastel mint green tee- New Look
Ditsy floral slip dress- New Look (passed the "not too short" dad approval!)
Grey marl tights (super thick so basically leggings!)- Boots
Grey cardi- Matalan
Undecided on shoes and jacket yet,
will probably change several times lol.
Silver chain with button, pearl and crystal charms- Bday gift from friend...this came in the sweetest "box of dreams".
Going to put some makeup on then have a wander to Tesco to get Dad's newspaper and something for him and mum for lunch. Mum doing half day at work so she can come up to the hospital as well, thank goodness for moral support!0 -
Turkey. We're going to a small town a little way from Mamaris. I checked the weather forecast and day is around 23-27 and night 16 ish but I don't know if the night temps are minimums, I need to know what it'll be like in the evening, will I need to take cardis or not.0

Thnks Vicki.
Sadly today is likely to be another stressful one.
I have a possible stress relief purchase possibility but...shouldbe saving like mad...which in itself is proving stressful!0 -
What town is it Vicki? We stayed near Marmaris when we went to Turkey a few years ago0

Vicki, I've been lucky enough to have a few sunshine holidays in the last few years and that has really helped focus my mind on what I want to wear and actually need to take. When I went a few weeks ago , I took just 10 kg hand baggage for the week. That included all my toiletries and hair tongs , plus the bag weighed 2kg!!
My main tip would be that this type of hol is really casual, so really relaxed type clothes. It was 25 + and I just took one very fine cardi which I only wore a couple of times, although needed it on the plane on the way over which was chilly.
I travelled in the metallic Oasis shoes I bought, but never wore them again til I got dressed to come home! I had 1 pair of beach flip flops and one pair of sparkly toe posts. I took 3 pairs of knix, rinsed out every night and 2 bras. I don't wear anything in bed, but I have a couple of fine cotton wraps which are multi-purpose. I keep one by the bed to wrap round and also use after my shower instead of a robe.
I wore dresses mostly in the evening,( no matching tops and bottoms). I had one pair of white shorts that went with all my tops and a white fine- linen tunic that was handy over a bikini at lunchtime too and looked glam with the big sunnies!
I take several zippy make-up bags and little purses ( of which I have numerous in my stash) very handy for keeping jewellery in or hair accessories etc and for storing the sun cream to keep it away from sand or putting valuables etc in at the beach and for keeping your sterling and euros separate. Keeps things organised and tidy.
