Aw, I wish I had known people were up and watching here! I had sky news on at work and managed till about 3am when I got back here.
Retro - also shocked at the number of BNP voters here..
I'm so excited for my holiday, it's just what I need! I just hope all the trouble in Greece doesn't cause too many problems or knock up the price of food too much. I have a 15kg luggage allowance and a lot of clothes to take. I'm planning on very small shampoos etc and with seven girls surely someone will bring straighteners..
I'm also an overpacker, I think it might be so hot It'll just be kaftan weather too!
Legs are very achey today so just wearing long white vest and leggings. Will change before town later.
Hope you feel better PF, try not to exhaust yourself too much.0 -
I'm still waiting on a discount code to buy that Oasis maxi. I check everyday but there are none which is really annoying as historically there's been a 20% off every month since December.
Are you on their emailing list?
Oasis have been bombarding me with emails since Xmas, don't know whether there are any special deals there that are not available otherwise? I have just unsubscribed TBH, to avoid temptation after my little shoe and bag splurge last month
I am particularly liking a lot of their stuff this season. I've seen that dress picked out for praise in a couple of fashion mags!0 -

I think there needs to be an enquiry into the amount of people that were turned away from voting last night, that could have made up the shortfall in votes either way.
Result has been declared now, apparently a council official made a data input error, so there was a discrepancy of 2,000 between the number of voters and the number of votes cast.
Data input error Pah! It's not rocket science is it? Does nobody believe in double-checking? The organisational shambles this year is a total disgrace and inexcusable. (Highly-paid) heads should start rolling!0 -
Hi Tara747 Thanks so much for the link. What a lovely website. I have placed an order and also a few birthday presents for sister in law in December. I really like it, and with £10 off as well, very moneysaving:) Thanks again. MargaretDo a little kindness every day.;)0

You're speaking to the girl who took a day off work so she could stay up all night watching election coverage...

Morning all!
Haven't caught up yet as I've only just got up after going to bed late then being awake on and off. Feel really groggy now.
Can anyone recommend any nude tights that look really natural and not shiny?0 -

No I'm not, but I'm signing up now!
Thanks xx0 -
daydream, i cant stand the shiny ones either - i usually go for the cheapy ones in primark, as they are a more natural finish
that said, being primark, i tend to only get a couple of wear per pair before i ladder them 0 then again that could be me as i'm awful with tightS!
bu at 1.40 for 5pairs, i don't think it's too bad....0 -
I agree with Primark ones too. They used to do some that were £1 for 4 pairs, couldn't get more than one wear out of them but they were nice and matte.
I'd take a spare pair in a sandwich bag in your handbag. Always handy for when you pull them up too quick and your hand goes right through.
I've just made an appointment for a gym induction tomorrow. I'm not sure how much this is relevent to me 'pacing myself', but I want to get fit and look nice in my holiday clothes. Screw you illness.
Tara - was it you who mentioned a Power Plate the other week? I hope they have them, if not i've found a cheaper one on Amazon with really good reviews which I am very tempted by.0 -
No I'm not, but I'm signing up now!
Thanks xx
Also did you see the code for Nat West Mastercard for 20% off? Don't know if you or parents bank with them?
This morning has been shameful! I really must unplug myself from the TV and the laptop and go and sort out my bedroom,!
Catch up later!0
