Everyone deals with grief differently so there is no set way to be thinking or feeling. I'd say just be there for your Mum, lots of hugs and cups of tea and be a comforting ear to each other if and when the need arises <3

    Ah Tea, (hugs)
Did you ask for feedback from your interview. It probably won't change things for this job but it might give you some pointers for the next one.

If you call the HR department and day how disapointed you were not to get the job and that you would really like to be better prepared in case another job comes up and ask for feedback, it may bump you up the reserve list if one of the people who did get the job drop out as it shows you are keen and always trying to improve.
  • Have read back over the pages from the last few days and caught up with eveything.

Goan - so sorry to hear the news about your mum. It must have been awful to be stuck abroad not being able to get home to her. I'm glad you're there with her now. Thinking of you.

Tea - sorry to hear about your loss, sending hugs. On the news on the job, I agree with Vicki, it's worth trying to get feedback if you can.

Vicki - that dress is so cute. Imagine how much something like that would go for in Cath Kidston!

PF - off to enter your giveaway. Thanks for the heads-up about it.

    New me!

    Hello, it's we_shop_therefore_we_are here!

Since I've been brave enough to come out of hiding and post pics of myself on my blog, I've decided to change my username.

The old one was was too long and impersonal - better to just be me! :)

Vicki, thanks very much. I've penned a letter to HR but might drop them a polite call. I've applied for a job in Hobbs and wrote a lovely covering letter! Also applied to be a personal shopper in Bromley so that would be a DREAM!

I'm sure your determination and passion will pay off, I think that if an employer can't see how wonderful you are then you are better off not working for them as they are clearly fools!

Aww thanks very much girls! I sure am dedicated, I've applied for 57jobs with only one interview but it helps that my lovely boyfriend is very supportive. I could live without working but I WANT to work as I just love being sociable :). It just doesn't seem right living off my boyfriend plus I want to buy what I want without any questions! x
