I am a huge fan of denim dresses. If you have an Ethel Austin, or Primark near you they are both fantastic for coloured tights.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I've PMed Goan o chat about lamps.

Guys its a lot of money for lamps. Bearing in mind they'll be going into storage! We've been saving a nice figure every month towards home purchase, and when we buy it might well be land to self build, and while this is the sort of thing I want in my home then, its not a bargain that I feel is ...something stupid to miss. They are just something I really like (weirdly they remind me of DH.) DH sais they would be worth gatting at £500 but the shop would not negotiate down to that.

Goan, I almost bought an identical light fitting myself, several years ago in one of the shops at the back of spittalfields. I still really want one. we have a couple of antique murano chandeliers (in storage, lol) and I'm so looking forward to hanging them. I also have a really cool original Conran ceiling light that I adore but its so out of kilter with the rest of my already complicated eclectic style I'm not sure where we'll ever put it :)

These are something else, and woudn't fit in most homes scale wise. If they'd come down to £500 I'd do it.

I was browsing the tesco site today and thought how you'd like the denim one DB!
Been baking again today - I bribed Dylan to use his arms at swimming with a cooking session!
We made cheese scones, really good for doing with kids as there was mixing, adding, rolling, cutting and brushing with egg/milk. Recipe was on the Bero website.
Hope you all had a good day, I'm hoping to locate the boot sale tomorrow morning!

^ totally agree with Lost, here with a listening ear x

    Blaaaaah.
Just checked my diary and I have two, potentially three appointments this week. And still waiting to find out when I start "treatment"/stabilisation again.

But on a nice note, have just heard from a friend I dont see much and she is picking me up from the doctors Monday and taking me for coffee and a catch up which will be lovely. Might see if she'll take me to the green grocers so I can get some cheap veg and she can drop it/me home, then make up some soup for Dad and I to have a lunch together as he's off all week. I think he'd really like that.

That sounds good DB. It sounds like you have lots of friends to keep you on track. When you say stabilisation does that mean that at the moment you are getting worse but they hope to stabilise your condition? I really haven't any experience with that kind of thing so just curious and concerned I suppose.

Not sure about lots of friends, but the ones I do have are real stars and have been incredibly supportive over the past eight years.
Stabilisation, yeah...pretty much. They/I want to stop getting worse and get used to be on a steady path before pushing to get better. Only if I can manage it though, if things *do* get any worse then it is hospital for me, which is something I'm desperate to avoid!
