Yes, it's quality not quantity that's important!
Well you know if you want any daytime support we're all here. xxx

It's really quiet today and this evening isn't it - do you think everyone has gone out?

    Thanks girly.

And yep...I reckon everyone is out. I think I'm going to head for my bed and read for a while! Nice boring life, just how I like it ;)

    I've been Money Tipped!
    I was in the bath.

DH and I went for a lovely walk to day (the route I used to jog when staying with my parents...I was thrilled to be able to walk it today, walking on the level ground is fine, but this is all up and down hills, which I find hard). The only thing is, that I've now got blisters on the soles of my feet (which often happens if I'm on them for a long time: noone really has explained if this is related to my illness, or the weight gain or what) and I've got some bad bruising (this is todo with my illness) and my ankles and legs are really swollen....d'uh...still, the rest of me feels great! Is sort of good I have the bruising, the consultant will see it next week...

oh dear, two consultants appts next week, wht shall I wear? :)

I am going to switch off in a minute though: I don't mse on DH's time ....;)

  • I have just got home, laden down with four huge primark bags brimming with all my shopping..we left the shops at 7 when they closed lol and drove home, then I dropped my shopping friend off and went for tea at another froend's so have been there chatting, and catching up and teaching her kids to juggle, until now..
My head feels like it's about to explode :( but I'm hoping a pint of water and some sleeping tabs should sort me out for a while, as I'm fed up of not sleeping and it really is affecting me recently :(
sorry I missed you all..if I get up early enough / it's stopped raining I'm off to the car boot in the morning, but I'll catch up at some point :) night all..

Didn't go to the car boot as I fear I woke up too late. Which is a good thing in a way, because it means I got a lot more sleep thAn usual, which I definitely needed!

I guess today is trying on day :-/ (my least fave part of shopping) and then take back anything local that doesn't look right..then take back library books and do food shopping as I have nothing in the fridge..

    Pirate (good morning :D)

Glad you got a good night's sleep xx

What did you buy? I'm presuming your Primark is like ours, jam packed with people all the time with no hope of trying anything on in the shop .

It will be another dress down day today here - I've got people picking up things on freecycle (not clothes, you lot can fight amongst yourselves for them next week :rotfl:).

I need to pop out and do some shopping too - packed lunch and some sort of joint of meat for today. I hate shopping on a Sunday but I'm hoping the weather will put a lot of people of venturing out - it's nasty down here.

DH is getting in the loft today so I think I might get him to bring down all my size 14s and sort out what I want to keep for when I eventually get into that size and Ebay the rest. If it's not ebayed then it'll be up for grabs on here - I really need to declutter the house some more.

Pirate, take it easy today - sounds like you need a rest too xx

  • Morning Everyone,

Sorry I haven't been around the last couple of days. Works been keeping me busy and tired and I was out last night. Working again today and then movies tonight with hubby but will pop on once I'm home and will catch up on blogs then too.

Hope everyone is doing okay. And there have been lots of bargains had in the last few days.
