Oh coloured tights are so much fun! I'm obsessed!

Ooh I love them too. I was wearing a really short dress the other day and I was explaining to my friend that with black tights it feels like the dress is the feature and I feel tarty, but with coloured tights then the tights are the feature and more stylie.

Does that make sense? I have real issues with feeling like I am dressed too provocatively. In reality I'm not but that's how it feels.
  • Oh off out tonight apparently. Girls night out! I feel a bit tired but hopefully it'll be a laugh. Now..what to wear...

totally, black tights have their place but a lot of the dresses etc I wear with coloured tights feel too "dressed up" and out of place for day wear with black ones.

    have fun tonight :D

    Hi all,

Goanmad- how does your two layer tights work- does your top lacy pair show the colour through? I like this idea- might try it out.

    !

Yep and it tones down the sold block of colour from the bright pair. I also layer different coloured tights - grey worn under bright ones tones down the colour. Two pairs in the same shade makes the colour more intensive. Bright tights work well under fishnets, too.

Oh wow, that sounds great. I want your clothes!

I may be recycling last night's outfit, how unimaginative is that?

I wish I was going to bed early! I am envious. We are going all the way to Guildford. What is the dress code in Guildford??

Layered tights sound cool, i used to do the fishnets over coloured tights many moons ago. I also did buffalo boots and bunches, but the tights thing is definitely something to do again!
