Ooh I love them too. I was wearing a really short dress the other day and I was explaining to my friend that with black tights it feels like the dress is the feature and I feel tarty, but with coloured tights then the tights are the feature and more stylie.
Does that make sense? I have real issues with feeling like I am dressed too provocatively. In reality I'm not but that's how it feels.0 -
Oh off out tonight apparently. Girls night out! I feel a bit tired but hopefully it'll be a laugh. Now..what to wear...0

totally, black tights have their place but a lot of the dresses etc I wear with coloured tights feel too "dressed up" and out of place for day wear with black ones.

Goanmad- how does your two layer tights work- does your top lacy pair show the colour through? I like this idea- might try it out.
!
Yep and it tones down the sold block of colour from the bright pair. I also layer different coloured tights - grey worn under bright ones tones down the colour. Two pairs in the same shade makes the colour more intensive. Bright tights work well under fishnets, too.0 -

I wish I was going to bed early! I am envious. We are going all the way to Guildford. What is the dress code in Guildford??
Layered tights sound cool, i used to do the fishnets over coloured tights many moons ago. I also did buffalo boots and bunches, but the tights thing is definitely something to do again!0 -
