That sounds like a fab day Laura, hope you enjoy it muchly :)

I'm feeling very headachey and irritable today (think I've eaten something that hasn't agreed with me) and I find when I'm like this I have no effort left to put into picking out a nice outfit :( So it's fairly plain today:

    Blue tunic - DP
    Black leggings - M&S
Black short sleeved cardi - Primark
Navy suede pumps with flower detailing - DP
Chunky sky blue beaded necklace - car boot sale
Shell necklace wrapped round wrist as a bracelet
    Cream dangly earrings - Accessorize

sounds fab! One question how to do get away with wearing a necklace as a bracelet? Ive tried with mine but they always seem too loose iykwim? Is there a trick to it? Daft question I know lol

I'd love the Carvela ones if it weren't for the metallic heel. They're more open toe rather than peep toe - I don't mind showing off my toes, I just don't like only being able to see my big toe, it's weird!

I think the Dune ones would be a wee bit high for me.

I think I win the award for weird toes Im afraid! My second toe is longer than my big toe yes weird lol

Gah, sometimes, just sometimes I feel pangs of regret that I didn't go back to work. Totally from a selfish financial point of view, generally I'm content but when I really want something but can't have it I do feel fed up.
I think it doesn't help that being at home hasn't been a bundle of fun this week so I do wonder why I'm doing this sometimes. Thankfully DH has the next two days off so I can relax!
I know that sounds so self centered but it feels good to admit it.

Vicki dont feel too ba about it hun, I have done both, when Callum was born I went back full time when he was 6 weeks old then gave up work when Reiss was born. Went back after Jasmine and I hated it, all I wanted to do was be with her during the day and the boys after school. I do sometimes think OMG why the hell am I doing this, i could be in an office sipping my coffee! But then I think I would have all the issues of childcare, time off, and a boss that doesnt quite understand (which all amounted to me becoming depressed in my last job and ultimately leaving). Im prepared to make the financial sacrifice just now knowing that I will look back when the kids have left home and know Ive done the right thing.

I never had that when I was young as my mum as a single parent and work full time (she could have went on benefits but she didnt want to do that) Probably not explained myself very well there but I know what ou are feeling xx

PS sorry for all the posts I really should start multiquoting! lol

I think that's a sign of intelligence or something :D

The necklace/bracelet thing - it is a little bit big but not falling off my wrist or anything. I think you just need one that's about the right length and not too chunky and this is ideal.

Nah, keep chatting :) If I don't have this to distract me from how awful work is today, I may well have to lock myself in a cupboard or something.

Did you see the DP skirt I posted a link to yesterday?
