I really want to make a sock monkey too! Me and my mum went to feed my auntie's cat and borrowed the sewing machine ;) I have a pile of things to mend/make now.

Love the shoes Alex, I'd say they're an investment that would go with anything. Also what an amazing weightloss, you're going to look great at the wedding.

It seems like i've been sorting out my room for the past two weeks, I'm so awful at getting distracted! Nearly done and then i'll be super organised!

Just watching Blood, Sweat & Luxaries on bbc three, it's about handbags and is so interesting but not for bed time viewing!

Gah, sometimes, just sometimes I feel pangs of regret that I didn't go back to work. Totally from a selfish financial point of view, generally I'm content but when I really want something but can't have it I do feel fed up.
I think it doesn't help that being at home hasn't been a bundle of fun this week so I do wonder why I'm doing this sometimes. Thankfully DH has the next two days off so I can relax!
I know that sounds so self centered but it feels good to admit it.

    Not self centred hun,
totally justified and understandable thoughts x

I think I still want to lose a bit more after that but I should be at the six stone lost mark by then so it seems like an appropriate time to do it.

    :Tyou are incredible Alex
I'm actually quite jealous you have managed to do it in such a healthy/sensible way too :o

    Eh,
    morning :o

Alex, I really like those Carvela shoes - and wow to your weightloss, love to hear how you've done that - really well done.

    Today I'm wearing

    Cream ribbed loose cardigan
Dark blue denim skirt (Frozen River)
Blue tights (didn't want to put tights on but it's not as warm as expected)
    Black flat shoes
    Pearl earrings and bracelets

Thanks girls :) and thanks for all the texts and cards and gifts :o
    *spoiled*

Having a nice morning so far, Dad made me a coffee before he went to work, then when Mum got up we opened presents and cards.
We're just finishing getting ready now and then we're heading over to the next town along,
going to the "posh" part of it to the independent gifty/boutiquey shops to see if there is anything that takes our fancy
and then along to the seafront to eat lunch (all packed up and totally boring in my case!) and play in the penny arcade. After that we're going to call in and see my grandparents for an hour or so, then come home because I will most likely be fit for nothing after that lot :p

Best friend popping round later with gifts, apparently, and I have a suspicion that the postman will be weighed down juding by messages I've had :o Will likely have to pick stuff up tomorrow though as they come so late here and we'll be out!

    Outfit:
Floral skirt made from vintage fabric: Yellow shop in Bath
Nude floaty top with pretty detailing: Vicki mse lovely
    Indigo tights: Ethel Austin
    Grey cardi: Matalan
Grey suede studded flats: Ethel Austin

That sounds like a fab day Laura, hope you enjoy it muchly :)

I'm feeling very headachey and irritable today (think I've eaten something that hasn't agreed with me) and I find when I'm like this I have no effort left to put into picking out a nice outfit :( So it's fairly plain today:

    Blue tunic - DP
    Black leggings - M&S
Black short sleeved cardi - Primark
Navy suede pumps with flower detailing - DP
Chunky sky blue beaded necklace - car boot sale
Shell necklace wrapped round wrist as a bracelet
    Cream dangly earrings - Accessorize

    Morning girls!

Happy Birthday DB hope you have a fab day! :)

Got good news last night- we have wont the lottery! Woop! Haha only 50 quid like but Im chuffed as Ive only ever won a fiver on the thunderball once many years ago lol. Oh and I are child free on Saturday so we are going to use it for a nice night out.

Went to Tescos this morning and got a cute turquoise and gold chain bag for 3.50 and some more leggings as I seem to have ripped my last pair (god knows?!).

    Saw these and this

I want! The skirt was actually full price in the shop though! I have stuff selling on ebay so hopefully I can order something nice by the end of the week (though I have to tax my bus so maybe not!).
