I like them Alex and they'll see you through many formal occasions too. Really they'd be an investment!

Oh I'm so easily persuaded, hahaha. All ordered, with 6% cashback from the Kurt Geiger website :)

    Good girl, Lost -nice find.
    And cashback too, very MSE!

Alex, you look so good on your blog it's lovely to see your face! I'm really intrigued about your weight loss. I hope you don't mind me being nosey but have you any plans to do a post about your journey, highs/lows etc. It's an amazing achievement and I'd be really interested.

Gah, sometimes, just sometimes I feel pangs of regret that I didn't go back to work. Totally from a selfish financial point of view, generally I'm content but when I really want something but can't have it I do feel fed up.
I think it doesn't help that being at home hasn't been a bundle of fun this week so I do wonder why I'm doing this sometimes. Thankfully DH has the next two days off so I can relax!
I know that sounds so self centered but it feels good to admit it.

Very nice find lost, thank you again :D

Aww thanks hun. I never look like that in the pics I take myself so don't expect too many more of them :p

And it's not nosy at all, ask away! I am planning something but I have to get up the nerve to post the fat pics first! Haha, they're really awful, how did I kid myself that I didn't look that bad?! I think I'll wait till just after the wedding (month tomorrow  ) to do it cos that was always going to be my main target. I think I still want to lose a bit more after that but I should be at the six stone lost mark by then so it seems like an appropriate time to do it.

What you're doing is far more important than going back to work though. It must be so difficult, I genuinely don't know how you and the other mums manage it. Have things been any better with Dylan today?

What is it that you're wanting?

    Nothing and everything lol!

I get waves of it when I see something lovely that I would have before just bought and not thought anything of it. The sewing machine is driving me insane as I just cannot justify spending a lot although I know we could really do with one. A lot of my clothes are too big and falling down and I could just adjust them a bit and the stack of projects that I was going to do by hand is growing so fast, plus I have huge buring desire to make a Sock Monkey now!

It's honestly nothing and I can't imagine that I'm the only one to feel this way, it's just nice to say it and get it off my chest.

Actually today wasn't so bad. We had fun in the garden and only some minor lettuces were destroyed!

Grrr at the sock monkey thread huh vicki :)

sorry for being quiet All afternoon, my dad decided we were popping up
to Wales at about 3pm for the eve / tomorrow as the boiler is being serviced in the morning..he gave me his usual ten mins notice so it's a good job I have a wardrobe full of clothes up here lol..
Eventful as we arrived to find the power tripped, and turning it back on caused the burglar alarm to go off, which, having never set it in the three yr's they have had the house, he didn't know what the code was :-/
cue frantic searching for the scrap of paper the old owner left lol but all sorted now!!

Can't believe I missed all the shoe shopping :(

Tell me about it! I haven't even dared look at the thread but there is the most adorable little sailor monkey on the sewing thread and Kandi's greeny too.

Dylan would love to look at my sock monkey under strict supervision from me lol!
