I've got a coral pashmina to wear round my shoulders, although I could wear a cream/nude cardigan instead and then match the shoes. The blue is lovely but doesn't really suit my colouring, if I wear a lot of it - if you see what I mean.

I do...Idon't wear lots of blue normally either. :) I love nudey cream and beige shoes, i love the idea of white/cream shoes but in truth...IMO they rarely look great, they always make feet look a wee bit larger than they are.

coral I think it may have been Kurt Geiger I saw coral in. Maybe check John Lewis site? I can't as I started and started mentally buying shoes....I'm not buying any shoes till summer sales. :o

Thanks very much, I'll have a good search round.

I probably need to just go and look properly, its always hard to tell the exact shade in a photo online.

alex, I know you didn't want peep toe, but these are a bargain and would work with black...

    I know, I know I mustn't look at shoes....

edit: or these?http://www.johnlewis.com/91882/Style.aspx would also work to funk up some of your pretty dresses...

edit: or classic elegance, but not older classic like the slingbacks, beffore, whch i admit look very comfortable :.http://www.johnlewis.com/72289/Style.aspx

I'd love the Carvela ones if it weren't for the metallic heel. They're more open toe rather than peep toe - I don't mind showing off my toes, I just don't like only being able to see my big toe, it's weird!

I think the Dune ones would be a wee bit high for me.

The Carvela ones. They're just about the right height and they look quite comfy, two very big plus points.

Thank you for looking for them by the way hun :)

LOL, anytime...just had to stop because of wanting to buy stuff myself. Typically what I like isn't in the sale!

I actually like the metalic heel, I think its quirky and without it I thik they'd risk being a little staid.

I had leather sandals with a steel stiletto heel a few years ago, they were great. I think I still have them but they got squashed out of shape :(

The bride approves of them. I shall think on it and probably order them tomorrow unless I find anything else - the dress fitting is next week so could do with them before then!

Did I spy those lovely peach ones you bought yourself not so long ago on there? Very very pretty.
