    Hi everyone!

Well, I did it - I wore a skirt to work :rotfl:
This is the outfit I went for, not massively inspiring but it's a start! (just noticed it matches the S&G hatbox in the background lol)

Black knitted jumper, New Look (I've had this jumper for 8 years :o it's from the days when clothes were well made lol)
Pink skirt, DP, got this at a clothes swap thing!
    Plain black tights, Tesco

No one said anything so it either suited me and didn't look too out of place or it was absolutly horrible :p

Those cupcakes look lovely Vicki :)

    xx
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o

    You look fab Silaqui!
  • Hiya,

DB - hugs, earache is awful but even worse combined with a headache. I'm pleased the nurse suggested the duvet and that's giving you a wee bit better sleep.

Silaqui - well done on the skirt-wearing. Think I last wore one in, oooooooooh, maybe 1997. :o I so need to get out of jeans.

Anyone know when Goan's back? Really missing her daily blog posts. Feels like she's been away for months rather than weeks.

Have updated blog with something I bought which might be a misprice or might not. Still quite pricey, not sure if I can afford to keep it.

    xx

Mariel, have a lovely time tonight.
    Lost how was the facial?

We've made the cupcakes, Dylan did the whisking with the electric whisk which is great ads before he was a bit scared of it.
    Here they are:

I'm quite pleased with how they turned out but they would taste better with real butter instead of spread. I'm sure my friend and DH will be happy with them though.

Vicki those cakes look really pretty- I bet they tasted good too. :)

The facial was heavenly, truly heavenly. It is such a decadent thing to do, but its all so wonderfully relaxing and rejuvenating, I feel really re-inspired to commit to my skin care etc. My hair looks pretty fab too.:)

I am so treating myself to a facial when I can bear to have someone in "my space"

I recommend an aveda one. :) I don't know if its universal bu tat mine the table thing you on is heated, the scents are all matched to your mood and preference as well as skin needs (you fill in a questionnaire about skin needs/mood and they select three, which you choose from the scent). It all feels very luxurious and not at all ''clinical''. I almost fell asleep today, it was so warm and peaceful and yummy smelling.

Yes Lost they tasted goooood. So good I had to hurriedly give some away before I wolfed them all down. DH is home now to the rescue so I won't be tempted by them any longer!

I had one iced one and one uniced and a fair bit if cake mix so not terrible but probably more than I should have had.

Glad your facial was lovely, I really can't wait to feel up for having mine but I'd be so cringy at making someone touch my skin right now. My skin keeps getting to a point where I thinki, OK when these scabs have cleared up a bit I can go and then a whole new outbreak happens, it so frustrating. I expect after the week in the sun it'll be a lot better. I have a sunlamp for it but it looks silly having a brown face and white everywhere else so I don't use it.

Oh that sounds bliss. Haven't tried any Aveda stuff. At christmas my dad and me went shopping to get pressies for my mum and we got an Aveda gift set that had lots of lovely looking things in. We also got some Korres (sp?) stuff - it's Greek I think. Again, lovely packaging and natural ingredients I think.

Edited to say, sorry forgot the outfit post:

Indigo skinny jeans (like practically every day - help!)
Black smock top with long chain heart necklace
    Black ankle boots

This weekend I'm shopping for memory cards and working out how to work the digital camera. It's not that complicated I guess but I'm a technophobe! Hopefully it should be easy to get it going.

    xx
