during the week 2 -3 pm is officially my ''nap time'' :) I don't usually nap anymore, more sit down with a cup of tea, a blanket and the tv/lap top and be quiet. I talk to you lot in that hour, just like it to be quiet.

so why, oh why do people keep trying to talk to me?

Anyway: style notes: I'd forgotten how good classic red toenails can look...I need to dig out flip flops to replace the flats by the front door with. :) Make up today was home mixed tinted moituriser...because my skin looks pretty fab! back lashes and deep raspberry lips. My finger nails are a mess, I chopped them back last week, but they are a bit weak and have chipped and flaked so need sorting again: does it ever stop? ;)

I love this cool sunny weather so much. :)

Lost I've got red fingernails today! Toes are coral. I'm having trouble with my nails atm. I had swine flu (well the website said it was lol!) last October and my nails developed a deep week ridge running across them, which is now at painful breaking point. It seems to be taking ages to grow out and normally my nails are super strong.
I've been into town twice as the one job I gave DH to do he did wrong. He gave me the wrong birth certificate for Dylan so I had to go home for the full version. Still all done now.
Popped into Poundland and got some seeds, pollytunnels, 2 climbing rose plants and 6 stawberry plants so will see about them tomorrow. Also got some solar wall lights to go on ourfence panels. Hoping they look good rather than tacky!
In Boots I picked up a travel jewellery box and a b;ack satin evening style bag for a grand total of £2 on clearance!

Gosh it's quiet in here! Haven't been around much lately, I tend to log on and then there's 1001 things to do. I'm terrible for putting things off and I think I've put some things off way too long!

Daisy, hope you feel better soon - try not to push yourself and overdo things. The quilt on the bottom is a fab idea isn't it - we sometimes put the summer quilt on the bottom in winter, when it's really cold, and with the winter down quilt on top, it's like sleeping in a giant marshmallow.

Tsabo - I think we're in the same neck of the woods roughly (up north anyway) and I do believe I can see the tiniest patch of blue sky peeping out from behind the clouds. It was certainly a bit grim earlier, bit like today's outfit, in various shades of grey, but I do have the most outrageously pink toenails flashing under my desk (had to take my boots off, my feet were just too hot).

charcoal grey asymetric tshirt dress (H&M)
    light grey skinnies (M&S)
    grey leopard fake fur coat
grey Ugg boots (under the desk atm)

Won some Top Shop vouchers today, so looking forward to treating myself at the weeked - I've seen some sandals I quite like.

I think I'm coming down with something. I've had a sore swollen throat all day and now getting a horrible earache that is worse when I swallow. Feels like the start of a cold. I'm going to snort some First Defence to see if that stops it. I so don't deserve another cold, although I have been eating less healthily and forgotten to take all my supplements for ages so maybe I do!
