    Thanks Claire,
I only really mentioned it because it is so unlike me to be on top of things. I still have things left to do on the list from Tuesday so will finish that if I can today too.
DB, how are things? Are you making any progress towards your recovey at all or are you waiting to go in? Have they given you any things to try or work on?
It seems to me that you're at an all time low with it all which may be a good line in the sand moment where it can only get better, you know, small steps.
I think you've clearly had enough of being ill now, so wish you well for your recovery. xxx

Vicki, waiting to go in really, just doing what I can to stay stable and not get worse, which is what both the unit doctor and my therapist want.
My main ambition is to avoid a medical admission between now and going in, which is kind of the game plan as they think my body will need it...just for a few days for a "break" of sorts. Current waiting list for the unit is about 2 months so I feel...a bit lost and like I'm treading water but running out of energy.

DB you can get through this, in manageable chunks, a day at a time to start with..

i'm going to start making a proper list for each day from now on and see if that helps me, as at the moment i am feeling like i never have enough time, and themore i stress about it, the more things i forget..im not sure if it will help..but if i take 10mins per eve to do a structured plan for the following day, i hope i'll be able to manage m,y time better..

You will find with practice it takes fewer than ten minutes. :) Good for you. Its really satisfying seeing a list of stuff ticked off at the end of the day. :)

Its so beautiful, bu I'm shocked at how quickly the ground is drying out. I'm playing the game of trying to move the sprinkler with out turning it off or getting too wet!

I'm doing this too PF and I feel a lot more focused and in control. Hope it works for you too.
DB, so do your doctor and therapist want you to go for the medical admission but you don't want to? What criteria do you have to meet to avoid it?

ETA, PF - the dinosaur is a big toy that you put balls in holes and they roll out of different places. It's lovely but Dylan's too old for it now!

Vicki, they don't want it per say, they just dont think my body will cope with two more months of real life.
Not jumping for joy at the thought of medical admission based on horrible experiences in the past, but have been assured it'd be better organised this time, if it comes to it...they are taking it appt by appt rather than saying I have to go in right now, though parents have been briefed on signs I need to go in before then.

    Right,
I'm going to drag my doom and gloom self off to get ready and go out. Hopefully the fresh air and company of my best friend will help my mood :)

Well you have a lovely time out in the sun with your friend and try to think positively about hospital.
Sometimes going in can be a relief if you've been struggling on your own. xx

Can people please wish the clouds down south for tomorrow? I'm having an early bday bbq and drinks as I can't do big nights out atm and it's so cloudy and cold. :(
I have that Motel flowery dress I bought a few months ago to wear for the first time too!

PF - a list the night before sounds like a good plan. I'm usually pretty organsied and find to do lists really help.
DB - hope you feel a bit better for the fresh air.

    Wearing today:
    Grey jogging bottoms
White tshirt with black roses on neckline
    and Reebok Easy Tone trainers.
Just pottering about the house today and trying to unpack and sort everything.
  • Hi,

Today's outfit is a pale pinky/beige Topshop blouse with black skinny jeans and biker ankle boots.

Have updated blog with 2 things - 1 that I can't afford and 1 that I like but know I shouldn't (in my heart of hearts I know it's super tacky).

Lacking inspiration. Feeling a bit down.

    xx

yep i;m hoping it helps a little..i tend to have an ongoing to-do list, but i'm lazy with it and just do the things i want to, so im thinking if i do it more like a day plan..esp for the weeknds, i should get a lot more done..my main problem is i'll start something and then get distracted halfway thru and start something else lol
