I've been out today and bought the Nittygritty comb which everyone is raving about. Dylan's hair has never looked cleaner or shinier (don't use conditioner normally!) We're going to have round three with the comb before bed today!

I have offically become obsessed lol!

Now having major trouble trying to find someone to sign the passport photos, quite a lot of my frinds haven't known me for the required 2 years and the ones who have who love locally who might be at home today don't seem to be in. Looks like it might be postponed for a further day now.

Going to try and finish yesterday's list today...

    - Passports - find out if DH is OK with only 1 month left on his. Send Dylan's application off.
    - [STRIKE]Washing up all the things that the dishwasher failed to clean last night[/STRIKE].
    - [STRIKE]2 loads of laudry wash and hang out.[/STRIKE]
    -[STRIKE]
    Check up on seeds
    - Take nursery furniture apart
    [/STRIKE]
    - Do a blog post
    - [STRIKE]Buy a nail brush, pedegg, grater type thing[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Wrap and post ebay parcels.[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Clean kitchen[/STRIKE] and bathroom.

    Plus new things:
    - Make cakes
    - Make birthday cards
    - wrap up baby present for friend
    - organise Dylan's room now his wardrobe has gone.
    - Sort out my clothes pile on the bedroom floor
    - [STRIKE]Wash Dylan's bedding.[/STRIKE]
    - Comb everyone again.2/3 done!

    I've been Money Tipped!
In the interests of healthy self ridicule, I've now finished putting on my make up....to go for the facial, which will remove in all. Still, it will look really good for about an hour and a half ;)

Lost that's exactly what I'd do!
Another day of running round like a headless chicken but Jazz is going tomorrow - yeek! - so things *should* calm down a bit then! I'd quite like the time and energy to do a blog as well!
We're going out for a family farewell meal tonight so it gets me out of cooking. Shortly I've got my friend's daughter coming to stay the week as she is going to visit her dad in Cyprus, she's no trouble though and gets on really well with Lydia, there's only a year or so between them.

I'll brave an outfit post today -
    black leggings (Primark)
black denim mini (me made from old jeans)
black and purple diagonally striped tunic tee shirt (Primark, customised by me)
black and gold knitted hat (Tesco, daughter's)
purple velvet three quarter coat with furry collar (thrifted)
    Black leather biker boots (Tesco)

I don't think I really look dressy enough for the meal but tough!
  • I haven't been around for a few days because OH is off work this week and I can't let him see that I spend all day on the computer!
I'm only on the internet now on the pretence of looking to see what's wrong with our camera as he wants some photos taking for ebay.

Daisy, I hope the painkillers are working for your earache.

Lost, A few years ago we ended up with loads of cockerels from hatchings and they were competing with each other all day long with crowing. Luckily we haven't got any near neighbours so it wasn't too bad and we managed to give most of them away.

Mariel, have a lovely time tonight.
    Lost how was the facial?

We've made the cupcakes, Dylan did the whisking with the electric whisk which is great ads before he was a bit scared of it.
    Here they are:

I'm quite pleased with how they turned out but they would taste better with real butter instead of spread. I'm sure my friend and DH will be happy with them though.
