    Hi everyone,

Sorry I've not been on AGAIN!! Just so busy at the moment and I'm so disorganised and totally understand how you feel Vicki. In fact I shall follow your lead and make myself a list or two tonight - I always used to but got out of the habit.

Daisy - I hope you're looking after yourself my lovely, and I'm glad you're not working now. I don't sew much, but can you knit or crochet?? Lots of free patterns around, and plenty for charity also.

Mmmm cupcakes!! Delicious - but forbidden food this week. Dd and I make a yummy banana cake http://www.nibblous.co.uk/recipe/825, and we use over ripened bananas that I sling in the freezer. That's forbidden too :rotfl:!

    Outfit for today:
white tight fitting long sleeve t-shirt
pinky/purple 3/4 sleeve short fitted cardie
    grey knee length tight skirt
nude tights (winter must be gone!!!)
    tartan fabric high heeled courts

Oh poo. Dylan's got nits, just sent DH off to Boots to get some stuff. All plans are now on hold until we're all debugged, oh the shame.
More experienced mums - what do I do? Tell anyone we've been in contact with? Ahhhhh why today?

Vicki, I'd tell them just so the other Mum's know.

Nits loved my hair as a kid, I had them alllll the time despite our best efforts. No shame required.

Back from dentist, alls good there at least :)

My favourite little health food shop is no more :(

Oh no! I know it's nothing dirty but I do feel terrible.
I hope it's not been long as he has fair hair it's quite obvious so sure we'd have noticed if it was there for ages,
Yuck I'm really squemish about these things.

My Mum was awful with them, so squealy and squeamish, it used to make me laugh (I was older than Dylan and loved winding Mum up :p)

I've never knowingly had them, my brother did so we were all treated.
At least I've not seen too many people this week.

For the foreseeable future vicki will be accessorising with a bottle of conditioner and a nit comb. ;)

Vicki...I'm not a mum as you know, but I'm a good aunt, and the nieclings got nits a lot. all you can do is keep checking as part of your regular routine. I know what you mean about ''knowing'' there is no dirt but the feeling terrible. Just remember the knowing part is right.

Vicki - Just be pleased he isn't a girl with thick, waist length hair! I got them loads one year because of a girl I used to sit next to at school, it was awful. I think there was a thread on this part of the forum not long ago. You can get tea tree spray to try keep them away next time in case others haven't been treated yet.

I got the Reebok Easytone. Not the silver ones I posted a link to but the black and pink ones. I'll report back after a few more hours use.

Also managed to accidently spend £21 in Primark. But for jeggings and three dresses that isn't too bad. Right?

Just finished. Had to use chocolate buttons to bribe him to sit still but I feel happier now. DH and I are going to check each other monkey style this evening, oh how glamourous! Lol at Lost's accesorise comment!
I'm just so glad his hair is fine, short and light, kids with thick, long dark hair must take hours.
I'm going to add nit inspection to the list of regular things to do. I just didn't even consider them an issue until school/nursery type situations.
Friend is still comming over, he's bald so says he's not bothered. Might just be a bit "itchy" to freak him out he he!
