I am supposed to be meeting up with the NCT mums but it's not a relaxing play at someones house, it's a drive away and outside and I'm just not sure I've the energy for it today. Actually, I know I've not. I'm going to cancel.
I'm having a skin crisis today too. I think it's the sample foundation from Estee Lauder. Which is a terrible shame as it's the best coverage and stops me being shiny by midday I think it's blocking my pores though.
Just bought yesterday a Revlon one which was recommended on another thread so will try that one. I'm hoping it is as good as it's half the price of the EL.
DB - have a lovely bath, it's good you're keeping busy and hopefully it will stop you stressing about your appointment. xx
You will have to let us know how that Revlon foundation works for you, I use estee lauder double wear but it is rather expensive.
I did try maybelline mousse foundation for a while but came out very spotty! You can stand there and agonize........

Morning ladies!
Hope you all are well today. Ive just dug out the garden furniture from the shed (I say furniture but its just 2 recliners and a battered old metal table and 2 chairs lol) so can sit in the sun today....really need to get ebaying again to buy new bits for the garden. Blagged my next door neighbours old plastic playhouse as she ha bought a new big wooden one...feel like a skip rat buy hey they were only going to take it to the tip (and its fine just needs a clean up!). We have a small fence with a gate between our gardens and she has a son 5 days older than jas so in the summer we open the gate and they all run in between the gardens, we have a slide and they have a massive trampoline so the kids get to play wtih everything.....
dunno why I fel the need to share that wth you, but have nothing to report outfit wise am wearing flared jeans, black vest, long orange beaded necklace and fitflop...hairs is mad but feel Im channeling my inner hippy lol**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0 -
Ah that is so nice that you get on with your neighbours Retro. On one side they are lovely but the other side lives a slightly screwy woman, she seems to spend all day making sure that nobody parks outside her house (it's not a dropped kerb or her drive though) there are cars parked all down the road but not outside hers.
She came and told the ambulance to move on two separate occasions, she is that crazy.
Oh the reason...
Her daughter likes to park there when she visits. Which is about once a week.
We all call her the traffic warden.0 -
Oh yes! It's Revlon Colourstay, I've got it on now. On first impressions it's a better colour for me than the lightest Estee Lauder (Shell-in Doublewear) but the coverage is ever so slightly less. Will report back on spottiness and durability! We should come up with a rating system to compare brands!0

I feel fine today, thank goodness, just a little stiff, so being very sensible. Did most of my errands out this morning, and about to start cleaning upstairs.
Pirate fairy, litsten to those cautioning against running when unwell. I believe it puts you at greater risk of developing a post viral syndrome, and suffering very real longterm effects. Until your health is sorted out you need to keep fit, sure, but through things like walking and things that don't over stress your body.0 -
glad your feeling better Lost

Today is like some mad clothes day for me. I got up got dressed in roughs, then changed to go out, then got backinto rough clothes, and now have found out I have a ''social commitment'' requiring me to get changed again this afternoon. I feel like housewife Barbi, all my clothes should have velcro on them or be reversible
