    Hello ladies,
I've been sort of lurking but busy. I've done my first blog post yesterday in a couple of weeks but it was a bit throuwn together. The great declutter is still going on and everythign has sold on ebay of "Phase 1" getting rid of the big bits. Not to get it all collected. I'm happy to say that as it stands we are now only £9 down after buying the new bed so it's not dented the finances too badly now. Well the matress was taken from the "new diswasher fund" so we do need to rebuild that but everytime we have the money for a new one ours starts working properly again!

I'm having a good outfit day today:
Grey jeggings - new £6 Tesco
Floral strapless dress - £5 Primark
Tan studded gladiator sandals - £4 Primark
Grey batwing ruched cardi - £5 Tesco.
Lots of jingly jangly bangles in cream, green, gold and wood.
Fingernails painted in Nails inc red, toesnails in Nails inc Coral colour (thanks DB xx)

I've just been out for Tapas on a MS with my lovely friend who's recently split with her DH so a great girly chatty evening (she's my longest standing friend and was so very supportive when I was ill, even though we can go months without seeing each other it's like no time has passed when we do)

Hope you are all well and had a good weekend.
DH's watching the golf now so may be chatting for a while until I can convince him that it is boring and there is something better on!

Oh I like when friednships are like that vicki, I have a couple of friends a
I can go for ages without seeing, but when I do its like no time has passed!

I'm frustrated this morning that the flu symptoms seem back to being as strong as they were a couple of days ago, since last night I felt so much better..

But I have a lateish start this morning, dropping my car off to be serviced, and getting picked up at 9 from there, so could fit in a run now..I'm so worried that i won't be able to do this run that my friend wants to do :(

Char, don't run today honey, not if your feeling poorly. Do you think the flu symptoms could be stress related? A sign you are trying to do too much and your body is struggling to keep up? Did you ever get those blood tests done?
  • Morning,

It's time for me to get up and jump in the shower - boo. Could do with a day in bed.

    Today's outfit will be:
    Black tee
River Island bird print cropped military 'shacket' (according to RI anyway! Guess they mean it's a shirt/jacket mix).
    Skinny jeans
Topshop mac bought 4 years ago - if it stills fits

    Have a good Monday.
    xx

PF, I agree with DB. I don't think you should go running if you feel fluish.
It might be an idea to pull out of the race too, if I had a friend who had been feeling like you have I wouldn't have asked her to do it in the first place so I'm sure she'd understand. Maybe you can help her fundraise or collect sponsors instead?
The weather is cooler here today which is a shame so I need to dig out warmer clothes again. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything today or not, but if I'm not it might be a good thing as I could do with a day of housework and laundry.

Ebay is doing my head in this week. I've sold the nursery furniture, no bids until the last three mins. So DH didn't take it all apart as we didn't know if it would sell or not. Now his next day off isn't until Friday and he needs to do it in the day so it can't be until then. The buyer lives the other side of the country and wants me to keep hold of it until May. She claims to have sent me a message before the auction ended but she did not. I haven't replied to her yet as I was just so annoyed.

Ugh that would annoy me too Vicki!

I am supposed to be meeting up with the NCT mums but it's not a relaxing play at someones house, it's a drive away and outside and I'm just not sure I've the energy for it today. Actually, I know I've not. I'm going to cancel.

I'm having a skin crisis today too. I think it's the sample foundation from Estee Lauder. Which is a terrible shame as it's the best coverage and stops me being shiny by midday I think it's blocking my pores though.

Just bought yesterday a Revlon one which was recommended on another thread so will try that one. I'm hoping it is as good as it's half the price of the EL.

DB - have a lovely bath, it's good you're keeping busy and hopefully it will stop you stressing about your appointment. xx
