It was good thanks, the weather wasn't brilliant but better than anywhere else I think! It's a great place but the sort of place you need a holiday from when you return.

Hi all. Hope you're all well and having enjoyable Saturdays! I've got so much done today - I'm sporting a new haircut, my car has a new windscreen, there are Easter cupcakes in the fridge, the flat is tidy, I have some new charity shop bargains AND my fingers and toes are freshly manicured! Phew. Am heading over to a friend's later then going out for dinner, drinks and dancing. She's my bestie but lives a 2 hour drive away so it's always so lovely when she comes back home.

Anyway, enough babble. Today I'm wearing:

Grey skinny jeans (have been totally living in these recently!)
    Long sleeve floral top
Grey cropped knitted jumper (just got this at the charity shop earlier... it smells like a mix of must and Febreeze! I must wash it but it went so perfectly with my outfit...:o)
    Pale pink pumps
    Flower ring
    Random selection of necklaces

Hope everyone is alright and had a nice day. :)
I can't believe how ill I am. :( As well as the ill I usually am I feel so queezy and my throat is so swollen it's hard to swallow. Wouldn't be so bad if I could just go to bed and feel sorry for myself but i'm working 8pm-1am tonight and 5pm-1am tomorrow. :(:(

Tonight i'm wearing a black Topshop dress I got for my birthday last year. It's go capped sleeves and a lace pattern on the top. Hard to describe but it's one of my favourite items.

Tomorrow I have to find something that is suitable for day wear, night wear, working all day and meeting my dad's girlfriend for the first time! Hmm, tricky one!

Coco - heels I would too. Especially coloured tights, that'll look really nice. However I saw a girl the other day wearing clear tights with flat gladiator sandals the other day which looked awful. And they were baggy tights. Ughhh.

No way I can get out of it. :( I really need the money too. And i'll feel like i'm letting everyone down. It just sucks how rubbish I feel and how much i'm dreading tomorrow.
  • Alexnikov - thanks for the Alice keyring, it arrived today.

My outfit is quite bland today
    Jeggings (next)
    Peach vest top (calvin klein)
    long grey cardie (next)
My lovely new grey emu boots (like uggs) when i went out
    Cream slipper boots now.

Phew! Think actually, after my knee-jerk near hysteria this morning that the shoes are OK. They needed a dusting of talc on my feet to make them a bit silky-slippy so they'll slide into the shoe. Once I stand up then my foot slides forward. The 40's would really have been too long at the front.

Believe it or not, neither DD or I had any talc/foot powder in our toiletry stashes, so as I temporary measure I ended up spraying my feet with Batiste, which on this panic-struck occasion, seemed to serve the purpose OK!!!:D:D

Rather silly posts of mine today in the great scheme of things, but never mind!! Anyway, work tonight was quietish (not good), so I managed to slip away very early and am now home (unheard of on a Saturday night, but very good for me this weekend) means I can cook soimething light and yummy and start to sort out my minimal carefully-thought out holiday wardrobe for Wednesday:D
