Haha, someone's just described me as "a vision in amethyst" How lovely, even if it is a blatant exaggeration.
What a lovely compliment, and I'm sure well deservedpiratefairy wrote: »Daisy you have to realise that you definitely are deserving of kindness, you are a kind and lovely person and definitely shouldn't feel guilty for the way ppl treat you as a result of that!

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday. I had a really bad night on thursday with little sleep and horrible dreams and then had a long day at work so couldn't face it.
I'm another that doesn't really get an easter break. Worked yesterday, working today and working monday. But then I guess I was only just off last week.
Hopefully catch up tonight or tomorrow.

Hope you get through work okay nic,
I'm off now, fun times fun times!0 -
Morning girls.
DH and I are off for a spot of charity shopping, presuming they are open. I saw some goblets I thought looked fun but couldn't drop in the other day, so here is hoping they are still there.
the weather is super-changable. I'm going to wear a dress and tights I think...whih ever dress falls out of the wardrobe first.0 -
It was gorgeously sunny a couple of hours ago and as I tried to resist getting up I laid in bed planning what to wear, and now it is very grey and looking likely to rain.
Going out today, so hoping it won't be too busy, got to pick up a Thomas carry case for Dylan's trains in Argos (part of Project Get Tidy!) Then I'm hoping the MS later will coincide with his nap so I can browse at leisure.
Really must sort out the passports and start ebaying things. It just takes so long to list items, I wish you could just upload a sort of mail merge file. Maybe that's the future?0 -
Haha I always fancied offering eBay listing services..apparently there are /were companies which do that..as I quite like listing things up..
And you're right about the weather, I'm off up to the coast for the family weekend in a little while, but first thing this morning was lovely and sunny, now it's really cloudy and awful..
Hope everyone who is working has an ok day
not sure when I'll catch up, as no Internet signal at the house :-/
have a happy easter everyone! Xx0 -

I think ebay listing businesses are a great idea. I have stuff I could sell and just am too scared/technophobe to do it.
The goblets I wanted were sold. In fct found out all the charity shops were open yesterday...
.....but....
I got an amazing set of really good quality copper pans....a mixture of sizes of saute and sauce pans, and a fondue set...still expensive, but all for much cheaper than I could have bought one really good copper pan for!0 -
Oooh bargain! I love a good copper pot
Did you ever get the expensive glass thing you were considering?
I've had a gorgeous lie-in and am now about to commence a day of part house cleaning, part sloth.0
