No, they were lamps. I still feel very sad...they are still there, but DH is right. we have three storage containers and a loft full of stuff and no house! We need to buy, move then rationalise before going crazy of spends like that. When I've got a house I'm going to try and get Goan to take me shopping :rotfl:

That's the second friend this week that's split from their partner, this one is a really good friend, probably my longest standing one too. Hope she's going to be OK.
When people split up it makes me really jittery, and I'm sorry about how selfish that sounds but it really does.

Queen good luck with your move- I have left a comment on your blog too. Vicki thats such a shame about your friend, does it make you feel jittery with regards to your own relationship or how to act around her?

Ive been super busy today, got the hanging baskets up, re-potted the herb (a little job but they were desperate), cleaned the whole house- well almost....boys have tons of books they dont rad anymore all sitting in piles in the landing so will have to see what to do with them as I called a few charity shops and they nt take them! ARGH

Still got to make muffins, cookies and a crumble but Ive sat down now so may not get back up lol

Just a sort of I hope it doesn't happen to me. I absolutley fell apart when my ex left and I didn't like him much by that point. Just the stress of sorting out the house etc and so now I'm really,really happy and have Dylan I have so much to lose I worry about it more even though afaik there's nothing to worry about.
I also over empathise so when my friends are going through a rough patch it gets me down on their behalf.
Wow you've been busy! I still haven't done my baskets. We're hoping to make some biscuits when Dylan wakes up as I bought a new dinosaur cutter to try out!

Aaarrggghhh!

Am having one of those moments! When I tried on my lovely Oasis shoes in the shop I used those very fine pop socks they supply. No I am a touch over a size 39, but 40 is a bit too big. Anyway foot slipped in nicely. Now, at home trying them on with bare feet, the foot isn't slipping in quite so easily:eek::eek:. Worse still, DD trotted over to L'pool One to change them this morning and no size 40 left. Chester have just sold their last size 40 and the Oasis concessions don't sell them.

I go away on Wed morning and the next-day delivery option isn't coming up online and even if it did I think I'm pushing my luck with bank holidays trying to order online.

Am just going to try them on again. I am always prepared to suffer slightly for my vanity, but am having an Ugly Sister/ Glass Slipper moment just now!! Wish me luck!!
