Vicki, I can honestly say I've never seen your skin as anything other than lovely?!

Lol, thank you, and thank the cosmetics industry for concealer!

Afternoon ladies. Just back from carboot and a walk up Arthurs seat after a rejuvanating coffee. Can't believe it is actually warm enough for a picnic down in England. It's freezing here and so windy.

I got some really nice shoes and boots for myself. A pair of lovely clarks edwardian style ankle boots brand new for £3 and a pair of pretty Miss sixty kitten heels for £2. Also a pair of Purple and gold suede tall Irregular Choice boots for £8, but they're so too big for me :(

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!!! Especially the Clarks boots, oh my they are unbelievably pretty (I am so jealous!). Well done! :T
Forgot to take the stupid flip flops when we went out D'uh.

Think we've decide to take an actual proper holiday in sept/october. A friend wrote ages ago saying his house in Tuscany is sitting empty and that he really thought we should go there for a while (he said a month! How do people get that sort of time off work!!!) so we are thinking of going for a week..nd then coming back via Venice or Milan to see friends. That way we'd be near enough friends in Tuscany to meet up with people for socializing a couple of times, but far enough a way to be able to have plenty of time to ourselves too.

Very annoyed because two dresses I've been umming nd ahhing about I love them both,

are both out f stock in bigger sizes now....grr. They were this onehttp://www.monsoon.co.uk/Maxi-Dresses/Paradise-Maxi-Dress/invt/65220584&bklist=icat,5,shop,women,dresses,wommaxidress

which i like depsite it not being terribly ''me''. it reminds me of the colours of places i lived as a child, I'm probably to pale for it now.

    bt this one

    http://www.monsoon.co.uk/Maxi-Dresses/Latimer-Dress/invt/65211572&bklist=icat,5,shop,women,dresses,wommaxidress

really is very much me. so I'm sad I've missed out on it. :(

    (((LIR)))) What a lovely dress.

daisy - OMG, that photo is just stunningly beautiful! I am imagining you stopping traffic. :) Do you keep it handy e.g. printed out or on your desktop, as inspiration?

So... anyone know where I would be able to get hold of a Prada badge for my bag? I think you fashion geniuses may be my only hope!blush.gif

p.s. I was fascinated to read what you were all saying about weight, body image etc. I can't believe I ever thought I was having a fat day at 8 stone, now at over 9.5 stone I just feel bleh!!!! I still can't get up the motivation to shift it though, I am definitely better at maintaining than losing. blush.gif But shift it I must, I have too many gorgeous size 8 clothes and I want to fit into them again!

Not sure Tara about the badge. Ebay maybe? You could try phoning Prada CS and explaining that your badge fell off - I'd love to know how that goes down lol!

Daisy - you're obviously a stunner, I can see that from your blog pictures but that 'makeover' picture is gorgeous!

Weight, lack of it or far too much of it will always be a issue for most of us. I like to think it gets easier as I get older, although I still have 'urgh' days! I just tell myself that models aren't real, most images in the media aren't real and if anyone in the public eye did allow themselves to look normal, they'd look just like the rest of us ;)

I'm sorry, no clue about the prada badge. Or the cardigan! Not much help there am I!

The maxi dresses are all lovely though - can't wait for the warm weather so I can get mine out again. Loving those boots and shoes too - I really should get out there and see what carboots are going on locally - I never seem to find bargains in my size in the charity shops.

  • Daisy- that makeover photo is stunning! I have a bone to pick with you though...I just had to buy some strawberry stud earrings from the Penny dog after reading about them on your blog! They are a late birthday present to myself, and were a bargain at £5!

Meds- love the shoes and boots.

Picked up my brown suede Fit Flops today from Boots. They are really nice, actually and so comfy. I have a pair of the original red ones from a couple of years ago but these are tons nicer.

    Today's outfit:
    Black long sleeve top, Asda
    Grey Dress with Roses, Next
Footless Tights with Zips at Bottom, M&S
    Plaited Bronze Headband, Primark
    Fit Flops
