It was good fun - nice to talk about Chalet School books with people who don't think I'm odd for loving them :D

I dunno about organising a meet up for us though, sounds like too much work for my liking :rotfl: I'm prepared to nag people until they agree to come though!

Oh, the evenings go too fast. I've done nothing which I suppose is deserved but now I have loads to do tomorrow. Ahhhhh, I need a cleaning lady!

I watched 'Enid' as well vicki, I love all of her books and had heard that she was a terrible mother but had no idea how bad - was quite traumatised after watching the film. :( I want a hug too lol!

(((hugs))) Tara. Well what an awful woman.
I wonder how her family felt about the film and how realistic the portrayal?

Thanks for the hug vicki. :) I think it was her own children who said that she was like that... I vaguely recall reading about it years ago but went 'la la la, can't hear you' as I didn't want to believe it. Now I'm an adult, I can handle the truth. (er, some of the time blush.gif)

p.s. did you notice that the gorgeous little girl from 'Outnumbered' was in it, she always makes me feel quite broody! :)

Yes! It took me a while to work out who she was as I don't watch outnumbered. Kids in sitcoms kind of make me cringe. She is super cute though.
I do vaguely recall the same as you but didn't want to hear it.
I did feel an overwhelming urge to wake Dylan for a cuddle watching it as it was so heartbreaking. I was so uncharacteristically happy to hear him get out of bed lol!

I've got a cleaner Vicki and I can confirm it doesn't help!
PF I'd def be interested in a meet.
    Daisy that photo is beautiful.

Popping in briefly as usual! I went for an early '70s casual vibe today-
pale denim big flares (DP via CS)
    black t-shirt (Primark)
    purple stripy v-neck jumper (Primark)
three quarter purple velvet jacket with big brown faux fur collar (Evans via CS)
flat black Mary Janes (Next sale years ago), when I manage to find some shoes that go with flares that aren't trainers or heels I'll be very happy!

Off on hols tomorrow so might not get chance to get on here before Friday unless I can get my phone to cooperate! Be good everyone =)
