I am ok for a while now, just need a couple of coloured cardis which I can hopefully afford just by exchanging them for the other one that needs to go back. It's not so much that I want to buy anything (except the IC flats on ebay which I do desperately want :o ), it's the fact that I know I can't afford it that really annoys me. Fed up of struggling :(

    Oh that's awful :(

Shall we team up and rob a bank or something? I'm just sick to the back teeth of struggling by. I know I'm lucky that my rent is fairly low and I don't have that many outgoings but my wages are so crap that just a few extra things a month leave me with zip left over. Perhaps I should stop being sensible. If I didn't try and save anything that I could fritter money to my heart's content!

Sorry if I'm boring everyone, I'm just feeling sorry for myself :o

Alex, are you a member of any survey sites? I'm a member of myvoice.co.uk - the surveys are very quick and the points build up quite quickly. Another one is Consumer Pulse, where you can earn around £10 a month in various vouchers just by recording your purchases. You need to sign up at www.volunteer4panels.com and they'll contact you when there's a vacancy. They also have other panels which you could be selected for.

Brilliant, aren't they? I save mine up and get a load in one go - just checked myvoice and I've got nearly £50 there!

Do you sell on ebay Alex? Apologies if you've mentioned it before, I might have missed it. If you've got old things that don't fit you now you've lost weight, get them on ebay girl!
  • Thanks for the nice messages. Still feeling a bit odd about it but i have got rid of 35 things (mostly old makeup) which is a good start. I like to keep count so i can go 'i have to make it up to another 5 then i can make more tea'!

daydream the skirt's really nice and i like your shoes too

tara, i was lusting after those pretty mugs in primark the other day, especially the pear one. I have tons of mugs though so can't really justify more.
I've got my eye on some tea pigs tea to put in the mugs though :) A shop down the road sells boxes but i don't know which to choose, it's quite a bit of money if i don't like it.

I really need to sign up to move survey type places.

Marzipan- I love teapigs tea, though have only tried a couple so dont have any recommendations!
  • I've tried the english breakfast and the earl grey in a tea bar which were very nice but i sort of fancy trying the chocolate, roobois caramel or chai. The earl grey has pretty blue flowers in :)

I tried chocolate tea once, I think it was by Yogi and didn't like it. Their liquorice one however I adore!
