Do all of you like mush book wise? I must be odd cos I dont like any of that stuff, I tried to read Jodi Pilcout once and couldnt get past the first chapter. read Stephen King, Shaun Hutson, Ramsey Campbell, James Herbert, all the best horror writers...same with films I like to be scared but not blood and gore thats just boring to me, .... I love Hitchcock it needs to have suspense and the idea that it could really happen, I want to be scared enough that I think that something bad is going o happen if I turn out the lights...hahah Im tapped I know! The best film Iv ever seen is the origina 50's version of The Haunting its spine chilling and you see o hint of a ghost or beasties in it.
No mush, Retro. I'm not keen on horrors but I did enjoy Tess Gerittsen's "The Surgeon" and "The Apprentice" - a good, gory thriller!
Leggings - TopShop, without a doubt. I'm still wearing ones I bought 4 years ago, no fading, bobbling or sagginess, worth every penny.0 -
Phew! I put lol as I could have sworn you had said something to that effect!
Then I wondered if it was you and I read back and couldn't find it, I thought I'd offened you!
I haven't been to Romford for years actually. Yes Chelmsford is pretty good. All we need is Toys R Us, Hobbycraft, John Lewis and Primark then there would be no reason to ever leave!
How old is your baby? I've got a 2 year old boy.
Oh, not at all - I just get unnecessarily paranoid about these sort of things
I have an 8 month old baby girl0 -

This sounds snobby and its not meant to....I like ''''literature, classic, modern, any genre (ok, not so much crime) I love children's literature, I just love good writing. I don't really care about where it takes me if it takes me somewhere...shows me something, makes me feel something.
I try and read all the shortlisted books for the major fiction awards, but I don't read those that just don't grab me. I'm always put off books with too many people wearing uniforms in them.:o0 -
Oh and forgot to say Hi to an newbies...Im so tired Im not with it!**"Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin."**0

retro, I don't really read chick lit or suspense, which puts me out of most conversations... I like Stephen King too, but prefer hard sci-fi, decent fantasy, humour and modern lit fic."All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -
IVe had the worst day ever so totally fed up. Only small bonus is i got a longline black cardi for £3 and a dress for £5. Not sure if i like the dress though, its got massive batwing sleeves but its quite fitted at the bottom:xmastree: :rudolf: :xmastree:0

Wow a new thread and already 22 pages long when I see it!
My fantastic new skirt arrived from the US today, love Etsy! It's made with tiny pieces of hand-dyed cotton jersey and cost way more than I have the right to spend on a skirt but I know I'll love it for years and wear it til it falls to bits. The rest of my outfit is very boring - a black top I remade to be longer and generally a lot nicer, black opaques and sheepskin ankle boots since I've been in the house all day. Accessorised with my spanking new pink hair of course
Hope everyone's ok, will try to have a catch up of sorts once I've washed up x0 -

I like batwings. The fitted might balance it for a sylph who might feel swamped by them and want to show she's a lovely shape....0 -
They are huge but i did like it on, i got my double discount too so think it was 4.50 for them both!! Not even sure i would get them that cheap on ebay!! They were £40 each!:xmastree: :rudolf: :xmastree:0

It's weird how i come on here and people are talking about things i've been thinking about/doing/buying.
So far there's been the owl tunic, a la redoute skirt that was on someones blog that was in my basket (now ordered in 2 colours), clearing out wardrobes and I was searching for alice in wonderland jewellery just yesterday. Oh and i was trying to reshape my eyebrows yesterday too :S
I need some new black leggings. I found the same with primark leggings & the shape of them. my black ones are quite low on my hips and ankle length but another pair i have are about 6 inches over my feet and sit much higher. I only thought to try on 1 of the pairs in the shop.
eta: Mariel i just looked at your blog and your pink hair looks awesome! I love the graduated colouring.0
