all this talk of shampoo I wondered where I was for a moment...I used frizz ease, it's alright but nothing to rave about, I'm going to try the conditioner only method as suggested by lostin (thank you) on the no more toiletries thread a while ago, I've just got a stack of shampoo to get through first

Goan, I absolutely love the Karma shampoo bar. Actually I love the Karma range full stop. The shampoo bars last for absolutely ages as well. My other favourite is the Daddy-O shampool, it smells of parma violets and brightens my grey/silver/white streaks.

I decided to stop dyeing my hair and go au natural after putting a semipermanent colour on it last year, which looked fine to start with but once it started to wash out went a rather vile shade of khaki. Never again! It would need a permanent dye and I'm too lazy to deal with roots. I actually like my hair colour anyway.

Yes you can, it won't do much for the condition though, the alcohol dries the grease up.

Could be good as an emergency fix though... hmm, will give it a go and report back. :D

Hello girls, sorry I've not been around, I've just been running round like a loon trying to get sorted for starting work today. Didn't get the other job I went for, was second. :(

I love Lush solid shampoo as well, using Soak and Float atm but I prefer Ultimate Shine. I wonder about the SLS but can't afford Optima tea tree shampoo right now.

:) Dispite having the type of hair J. Frieda caters best for, the shampoo/conditioner never, ever under any formulation..its been we worked a few times, has worked well for me. My hair often goes quite fluffy with it. No good at all.

Conditioner only, well, for me, conditioner mainly, really is great. Psychologically, I still need to shampoo every now and then, but considering I'm down from at least:o daily washing I'm amazed. The problem with curly hair is you almost always need to start from wet, an so the temptation has always been to give it a quick wash. Learning that I can freshen up with conditioner as well as I could with shampoo, and this is better for my hair, is truly amazing.

Ah, Magpie, If they were foolish enough not to see a good thing (you!) in front of them then the'd be awful employers anyway.

can we have some good weather vibes this way please!?!
Mum has said we'll pop over to the town we were going to on Saturday (but didn't because I was ill/asleep) to check out the charity shops and have a short walk, and coffee on the seafront to get my legs moving (they are soo stiff)
so I reallly want it to be at least dry!
