I've seen very good reviews for the Lee Stafford dry shampoo, anyone thried that? I bought the James Brown one when I couldn't get any Batiste. That did make me look like I was wearing a powdered wig and the smell was atrocious, like burnt rubber.

Goan- I'm allergic to all things Lush, I can't even be in the same room as it :(

JJ- yep, I love the Lee Stafford stuff (all this products, actually!)

Blue Batiste = MINGING HONKING SMELL

Pink Batiste is where it's at ladies. I love the stuff, and luckily I am blonde so do not have the talc-look problem!!! :rotfl:

Yep, the coloured Batiste is now available in larger Boots and on-line at ASOS. They really do work and I really recommend them.

Loving the sound of the No-Rinse shampoo, JJ. I'm loving Lush's solid shampoo and conditioners at the mo (Karma and Jungle), they don't have all those vile plasticisers in them so my hair feels really clean and light after using them.

I might give the conditioners a go the Goan, I'm trying this year to cut down on that kind of thing but I wish they would not use SLS in the shampoos.

I realise you probably don't have much money as a student but I would really recommend having a facial and getting some advice from a beauty expert (although as a beauty student you probably already know this). I found Clinique toner aggrevate my spots, but now use Dermalogica overnight clearing booster (although it is pricey) as soon as I get one and it clears up quickly. I also love the Decleor based products in between (when my bank balance can allow it).

I'm allergic to dimethicone apparently which is unfortunately in Dermologica treatments. I even have to wear gloves when using it on someone else :(.

Having spoken to a dermotologist it seems that I have hypersensitive skin  which has got worse due to the surge of hormones from my pregnancy.

I'm quite lucky that even working PT hours I still bring home a very decent pay packet so if I could find something I didn't react too then I would buy it, I just object to spending £40 on cleansers etc when they don't allow you to return them if they don't agree with you.

Got oxytetracycline from the doctors so fingers crossed that should work. Also got some tetley redbush and vanilla tea - yummy!!

Batiste is amazing - Blush (the pink one) is the way to go though. The rest are yuck!

Could I actually use hand sanitiser as a no-rinse shampoo or would that be stupid? :rotfl:

    Might try it sometime...

Yes you can, it won't do much for the condition though, the alcohol dries the grease up.

The coloured ones are fairly new retro,
the one you have is likely the original is one of it's various scents!
