Well, these are my purchases today.
Court shoes: http://www.newlook.co.uk/1847181/184718101/ProductDetails.aspx - bought these to go with the aforementioned skinny jeans and liked them as they were not too high (can't walk in too high heels) but now I am not sure if they will go with the jeans as I think they are more day shoes? Anyway, I will keep them regardless as they will do for work when I return from maternity leave and I am pretty sure they will go with a dress my mum is getting me for my 30th plus I like them
A black t-shirt for the hen night as I have a transfer to iron on - won't bother with link as nothing special.
Clutch bag: http://www.newlook.co.uk/1865125/186512579/ProductDetails.aspx - loved this when I saw it and it will do for some nights out including upcoming hen night plus £7 was not too pricey in my opinion. Was looking at more expensive ones on ASOS so saved some money there.
Bracelet - http://www.dorothyperkins.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=60&viewAllFlag=false&catalogId=20552&storeId=12552&categoryId=51604&parent_category_rn=51602&productId=1558281&langId=-1 - been admiring this for ages so thought I would treat myself to it as I had a voucher. Not sure what it will go with though. Also got hair clips in the same design but can't find link.
Also looked in Primark and they have some nice flower dresses that would look good with leggings.0 -
I wish I had more time to read
I've been on the same book for ages now (Eclipse - Twighlight series which I kind of love
).
Ohhh another Guide leader - I've just finished my leadership qualification piratefairy.
Daisy - I echo others comments about that dress, it's absolutely gorgeous !
I'm quite glad of this thread too re: social life - I gave up work a few weeks ago and finding it quite hard to adjust to not having anyone to chat to during the day. So thank you to everyone on here for keeping me sane !
:rotfl: :beer::iloveyou:
Right, DD1 (16) says I look like a pixie in the teal top, black shorts, teal tights and black shoes   . I think I'll try it on again tomorrow and take a pic so you can all have a giggle :rotfl:.
Aww, bless! So pleased you've joined us.
Better a pixie than a frumpy mummy - bet she's dead proud of having a slim and fashionable mum.
My mum used to turn up at PTA meetings in leather trousers, PVC catsuits and all manner of mad outfits. I was so happy to have a cool mum.0 -
Just had eyebrows threaded so I'm off to play with my Alice pallette and get ready to go out.
See you on the morrow.
Hello Freda - glad you like my blog0 -

Oh my!!!! I'm away for the day and theres an extra 10+ pages, forgotton now who said what so....
Brown tights - I got mine from Tesco -they were in the sale so only 75p per pack
Weight wise- I've lost 11lbs since Xmas but I'm doing it for me healthwise, I was 13 stone + arghhhh looks even worse when you write it down and decided at Christmas I wanted to loose 2 stone during the year by sensible eating and excercising 3x30 mins per week
Giddynici- I love Sophie Knisella I read one ona long plane journey and chuckled to myself all the way , bought the shopaholic DVD but was a bit disappointed as they had made it very 'american'
It was the funeral today so wore my IC leopard print boots as my Nana was a huge fan of animal print and had soooooo many nice comments about them - cheered up the black outfit, tulip skirt £2.00 tesco and primark blouse. It was a lovely funeral as she had a full and happy life so who can ask for more.
Have a fab rest of the day girls!!!!0 -
I'm just back from the not-so-boring-as-feared meeting. Decided to nip into the chazzas on the street - I think the charity shops here are inhabiting a parallel universe. £50 for a second-hand Per Una dress! I think not. Picked up an adorable short kilt and promptly dropped it when I clocked that they wanted a tenner for it! Even the beaten up old bags were priced at over £5."All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0
