LOL, I just think lots of women, with different styles, ages and strong personalities etc, its quite likely we'd have tiffs, but we don't and I love that.
I hadn'trealised before this thread started just how much I missed having girly time....:o0 -
see, i think im a weirdo, because anything slushy book-wise i totally eat up, but take me to the cinema and im a horror-flick girl first off..will only settle for romcom if there's no blood and gore to be had..
and then back to clotheswise, im a totally girly girl..0 -
I'm the same with this thread, it feels like the social life I don't otherwise get these days, and makes me feel far less alone..especially on weekdays when I'm stuck mainly at home whilst my friends work and have evenings out that I'm not well enough to go along to.
*loves all of you*0 -
you need a slumber party daisy
and yeah, i love it..i'm in an office on my own most of the day (reception area of an office full of men, but i hate to say that as i'm not your stereotypical ditsy receptionist lol..) and it's really great to have ppl to ask opinions of on anything really..lol
right, im off to the post office before it shuts, then to a guiders district meeting (rolls eyes), but i have to be nice, and not bored, as i have to persuade them all to get their girls to come to the parents evening..0 -
I love chic lit. Sophie Kinsella is my fav... she cracks me up. However I also read a lot of classics, poetry and factual books.0

I totally do!
Living at home means I cant have friends here at night as much as I'd like to as my parents enjoy quiet evenings and I don't want to intrude on that when they are so good to me...however they are off on holiday for a week at the start of July so I'm thinking of having a slumber party type thing then lol0 -

I wish I had more time to read
I've been on the same book for ages now (Eclipse - Twighlight series which I kind of love
).
Ohhh another Guide leader - I've just finished my leadership qualification piratefairy.
Daisy - I echo others comments about that dress, it's absolutely gorgeous !
I'm quite glad of this thread too re: social life - I gave up work a few weeks ago and finding it quite hard to adjust to not having anyone to chat to during the day. So thank you to everyone on here for keeping me sane !
