I do agree. I have a lazy metabolism I think, although not exactly on a strict diet to lose weight, I don't have scales, or particularly like to weigh in on the wii fit, so can't give an exact weight, but sometimes go thru phases of feeling "too fat" and then make more of an effort to xercise.. that said, i gym at least 3 times every week, and my stamina from things like cross country etc is great..i have accepted that im never goign to be a stick insect type, looking at the rest of my family im not built for that anyway..
and i know i eat a lot more healthily than the two girls im going with - theyir metabolisms just let them get away with more..that said, recently my stomanch pains have meant that my appetite has diminished somewhat, which is hardly going to hepl..0 -

I want more coloured tights, I already have a few pairs but really want some purple/plum/raspberry ones, and some brown ones too. My tights collection is pretty vast tbh, I should really wear them more often but am terrified of laddering my faves!!! :rotfl: I also love the ones with the rose print on them but the only nice ones are far too dear (not keen on Primark's version).Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Queenie, you've just described the Health At Every Size movement whether you were aware of it or not. I honestly think that in putting ourselves down and comparing ourselves unfavourably to others, we're doing no favours... health and self-image should NOT be a competitive business, and it makes me sad and sick to see it treated as such. I love this thread and its little community because it's so supportive and non judgemental.
Okay, I'm done now. I'm going to go have some more ibuprofen, I'm not used to such serious loquaciousness! lol"All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus SenecaPersonal pronouns are they/them/their, please.
I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -

It'll catch up with them when they're olderthat's what I tell my little sister anyway. Who actually happens to be the same weight as me and an inch shorter but still manages to be 2 dress sizes smaller. It baffles me.

Just a quick post because I have to tidy the house before the kids get home !
I'll catch up with you all properly tonight
Shopping was successful although my skinny jeans kept falling down :rotfl:- does anyone else have this problem. I've now got a belt on and I'm hoping that will keep them from sagging near me bum !
Charity shop yielded a lovely red blouse and grey trousers (smart wear) and an organic cotton t-shirt in a greeny/blue colour, total cost was £8.75. Also picked up a lovely Wallis top for £4 (teal/brown and cream).
DP sale rail - teal coloured top (£6) so I thought I'd buy some teal tights. That posed a bit of a problem as to what to wear with them so I hopped into Peacocks and picked up a pair of knee length tailored black shorts (£7 so didn't break the bank) - I'm hoping the visualisation of all 3 together will look as good as what it does in reality .
So, I think I'm finished now (I'd better be, this is costing me a fortune !) I'm pretty sure I've got enough now to see me through the next few months until I can get all my size 14s down from the loft and go shopping from my own house :j.:jWeight loss to date 1st 11.5lb :j0 -

Ooh, shorts. Hmmm, I may try a pair on when I go shopping. Probably won't look that good but they might surprise me
Rainbow - that's weird! Is she a totally different shape?
Hope I don't bang on too much about diets on hereI will just say that I'm losing the weight for me, because I want to and not to try and conform to any type of beauty ideal. I don't want to be skinny, I just want to feel happy with myself. Slowly getting there...
