  • I will just have to live vicariously (sp?) through your lovely finds then goan.

I'm going to stop looking now as I've also found a jumble sale about 5 mins from my parents the week before I arrive.

The real problem I have with BMI is that it totally fails to take into account differing frames and muscle ratios. I have never, never once, been in the normal category for BMI; I'm always overweight - even when I was maintaining at below setpoint (and got very ill doing so.)

Anyway, sorry about the wee rant, I'm in a grump this morning as I have a migraine and can't even sleep it off as I have a pointless back to work session where they will no doubt patronize me half to death. Therefore:

    Baggy pinstripe trousers (DP)
Baggy puff hem top (Mackays, a gift)
    Cashmere socks
    Black flats
"All cruelty springs from weakness" - Lucius Annaeus Seneca
    Personal pronouns are they/them/their, please.

I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.

Darn it, so when I get a buzz from the Wii Fit cheering me and telling me I'm perfect it's all a lie?

I've not long been getting the cheers, don't tell me it's a lie! Lol. It suggests I lose another stone mind you, for the "ideal" BMI. The Wii can jog on if it thinks that's happening.

I'd rather be heavier and more toned than weigh less.

I am off to try and make some fairy cakes. My oven only has one temperature (which is too hot) but last time they came out fine, I put them into a cold oven (and then turned it on, obviously). Wish me luck!

I don't like BMI. Obese is such a horrible word :( I can look in the mirror, I know I'm still overweight (but gradually shrinking)

    PF- it's mid march!

Alex- all weight related words are horrible, I cant stand the one that refers to my weight.
My issue with BMI is how the treatment I've been offered over the course of my being ill has heavily depended on being at a certain BMI cut off, rather than my health as a whole. Blah.
